Excellent food with amazing flavors. Great service and the perfect amount of attention by the staff. Beginning with bread and Balsamico, over crab meat filled black Ravioli to the Tiramisu and coffee - everything was as perfect as can be.

Wonderful food! A little bit of a slower scene, but what a lovely place to go to hang for friends for a whole evening. You will not be rushed. The 5 of us ordered the fritto misto, fried squash blossom, burrata, bresaola, and pheasant pasta, and bolognese for appetizers. Most of us ordered lamb as our main. The pheasant pasta and lambs were standouts but everything was terrific including our martinis and wine. This is our new go to - even if you want to catch a game at the bar and have a pasta.

Beautiful Italian food and wine that was backed up with great service. The tiramisu was great, as was the lemoncello and the pasta and the primi.

A great Italian restaurant in Brentwood! When you come here you feel like you’re going to your friends/family restaurant. The whole team is really nice and friendly. The owner/chef came a few times to chat with us, which was cool!

I came here a few times and would always get the bolognese that is actually really really good. And, never tried something else. But, this time I wanted something more light and went with the “Salmone”, which was really tasty! I really liked it.

Other people in my party got the ribeye and the ravioli - and nothing was left on the plates.

As a starter we did get the burrata - the cheese was really great. And, they also bring like a small appetizer to snack on with tomato sauce and cheese - just eating it with a spoon was delicious!

So, I would definitely recommend if you are looking for a chill, quiet Italian restaurant with amazing food!

We've been here a few times, and this last time was very disappointing. I ordered the "Braised Piemontese Beef short ribs." I normally love short ribs and I've had them at many other restaurants. Usually there's a lot of lean beef. Even if there's fat, when the fat is cut off, there's plenty of lean beef. But at Palmeri's, after I cut off the fat and bone, there was only a small amount of meat left. That's ridiculous, especially when it costs as much as it did. The picture attached to this review, shows the bones and fat at the top of the plate, and the very small amount of actual meat on the bottom. In my opinion, this is taking advantage of customers.

I’ve been dining there for some 15 years and live the food. Maybe I have not ordered any specials but watch out!!! It’s a total rip off. Ordered Dover Sole special. Decent fish though not big. No price mentioned. When the bill comes it’s $65 plus tax and tip making this little lunch special $85 out the door. Outrageous. So go there enjoy but never order a “special”. It’s euphemism for getting screwed. It’s how they get you. I’ve had similar experiences in other Italian restaurants but this takes the cake.

Food was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!!! 10/10 I was visiting from out of town and decided to try, and it did not disappoint. Whenever I return to California they will be first on my list to return to for another meal. Plus the service was wonderful! They also made me a margarita upon my request and it was one the best margaritas I’ve ever had.

You have to call the restaurant to make reservations. I made a reservation for a Saturday dinner. Parking is Valet only. We were seated at a nice table. We ordered the Burrata Salad and wanted to order the Short Ribs. They were sold out already. We decided on sharing the Lamb Chops. The serve told us it’s only 3 chops so he suggested we order on extra chop. What arrived was a double chop and a single chop on each plate. They took the normal 3 double chops and cut one into 2 single chops but on the bill we were charged $15 for the extra chop that we really didn’t get. We went to retrieve our car, I gave him the ticket but they had no idea which car was mine. Another thing that really irritates me is the chef was in the dining room all night talking to a few tables and ignored us entirely. If the chef wants us to come more often then ignoring us seems to be a mistake. We were very enthusiastic when we were asked about the food so we were not ignored because we were trouble makers. The food was very good but if being ignored and lied to is okay with you then you will love this place.

Palmeri Ristorante: A Culinary Gem in Beautiful Brentwood

We had an exceptional late lunch at Palmeri Ristorante in the charming setting of Brentwood, adjacent to West Los Angeles . With both indoor and al fresco dining options on two sides of the restaurant, we chose to dine outside, adding an enjoyable and lively atmosphere to our afternoon.

The restaurant features a very attractive front and a beautifully designed indoor dining room area, with a unique interior decorated with Travertine floors and Murano glass light fixtures. It also has a lovely area for a group meal near the front of the restaurant. It has an expansive menu and it was hard to pick just a few dishes but we will be back again in the near future!

Our luncheon began with the Fritto Misto, a perfect medley of lightly fried and crispy calamari, shrimp, and scallops, served with two delicious dipping sauces. Each bite was a testament to the chef's expertise—delicious and impeccably prepared.

We also enjoyed the Invernale Salad with a rainbow of colors which featured endive, baby frisee, radicchio, grapes, Gorgonzola Dolce, almonds and a light prosecco dressing. The salad was absolutely fabulous.

Another highlight of our meal was the Branzino, a Mediterranean sea bass baked in a Sicilian sea-salt crust. Served with sautéed spinach, this dish was initially covered in salt, enhancing its robust and flavorful profile.

For dessert, we indulged in the Cannoli alla Siciliana "Mamma Dorotea," featuring tangy orange-flavored ricotta cheese and pistachios. It was the perfect sweet ending to a delightful meal.

Each very special dish dish was beautifully presented with a unique combination of pleasing ingredients and flavor. The service was excellent, making our experience even more memorable.

We also had the pleasure of chatting briefly with Ottavio Palmeri, the Chef Owner originally from Sicily, whose passion for culinary excellence is evident in every dish.

Palmeri Ristorante truly excels in delivering an extraordinary dining experience. The combination of exquisite dishes, a beautiful outdoor setting, and excellent service makes it a must-visit for anyone in Brentwood.

I dine here every time I’m in the Los Angeles area and plan trips around having dinner or lunch here. Whichever you choose, lunch or dinner, you won’t be disappointed. The food is flavorful and authentic. Don’t miss out on trying the arancini, they are the best I’ve ever had outside of Sicily. I wish I would have take pictures but I’ll be back and will make sure to include them next time.
