A buffet of pastries for the price of a song. Yetzy & Maddie are the best!

It’s the same as any of the other Paris Baguette as far as I can tell but I mostly just came here to post the photos—I got my gf food here remotely so I happened to photographed everything. She liked the food! Not the best bakery but a solid 4 start corporate joint. The sausage roll is a decent price for the amount of food.

Stopped at this location around 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 28th looking to get a sweet and tasty cheesecake only to stand at the register and be completely ignored by the employees behind the counter. When I said, “excuse me” to be acknowledged, the barista gave me a scolding hand gesture and hold me to wait. The other employee didn’t even look up at me. I succeeded at being invisible without intending to. I was disappointed by the attitude and decided this establishment did not deserve my business. I was not begged for food or causing any trouble, but I was treated as such.

The cherry on top is the fact that this location always has flies inside the pastry displays. The glass is always dirty with sticky or oily fingerprints on it. It’s gross. I addressed this concern during a previous visit, but I was told the flies get inside the restaurant when customers leave the door open. In other words, nothing was done about it. This is why I recommend another location.

This location is not worth your time. It’s dirty, flies on the food, and employees with awful attitudes. Try other locations nearby 85 Degree bakery on Flower and Wilshire (nearby) or Whole Foods Market (about 2 blocks away).

Cozy Spot with Fresh Sandwiches and Delightful Cakes

A lovely, quiet café in Downtown LA, perfect for a calm bite amidst the city bustle. I walked in and was pleasantly surprised by the wide variety of options available!

I ordered the egg salad sandwich, grilled cheese, mini castella cake, and soft cheesecake. The sandwiches were fantastic-fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. The highlight for me was definitely the castella cake. It was incredibly moist and airy, with just the right touch of sweetness-perfect even if you're mindful of your sugar intake. Hands down, one of the best castella cakes I’ve had.

Unfortunately, the cheesecake was a letdown. The texture was dry and dense, making it hard to enjoy, and I couldn’t bring myself to finish it.

Overall, I’d highly recommend this place for most of their offerings, especially the sandwiches and the castella cake. Just maybe give the cheesecake a pass. Looking forward to going back and trying more from their menu!

Nice place to sit and have a quick bite. I came in out of the cold afternoon, the cafe was nice and warm. The seating area is large. The sweets offerings are plentiful, but they only a few savory offerings. I took my time deciding what to get. The employee was really nice and very polite, Adam I think is his name. The croissant I ordered was okayyyyy, but would come back based on the service. Give Adam a raise!

The Young male worker isnt aware of his rudeness and pays more attention to his phone than customers. If you ask for candles you'll most definitely not get them if he's serving you

Rude staff especially the woman, nonchalant.
I was ordering my pastries instead she would rather count money on her cart.
No smile or any greeting, I didn’t enjoy my cake in there.

Nice lattes but not one gluten-free item amongst a large display of pastries.

While not the coolest most hip place Paris Baguette offers excellent pastries at a much more reasonable price that the other places in Downtown LA. Blue Note while beautifully and simple design does not compensate for lousy pastry and mediocre coffee and worse service. So this place is the Everyman's everyday place to go. They should turn off the bad music though, enough noise already to nomlisten to bad acoustics.
