Was in LA for a quick work trip and was looking for karaoke on my last night in town, Remix delivered! The drinks were delicious and the karaoke vibes were immaculate. No crowd at 9:30, but it was bumping like an hour later. Shout out to the host, Alex, for her great energy the whole night! If I'm ever back in town, you know I'm hitting this spot up again!

I would give 5 stars because the service is beyond amazing. The drinks are amazing. But I was told I can only sing a specific genre at karaoke. I run a 40million business. If I said to people they can only buy guitars based on the genre they wanna to play I would not be in business anymore. While having a theme works isolating half of ur audience doesn't work. The theme for advertising is important but policing what is sung at a karaoke bar isolates half of ur audience. The theme is great visually but I think people should sing what they want or can sing. Not everyone is good at emo music. So u make people walk out and not stay as long as they would and spend money at the bar when u police the kind of music they can sing. That's bad for business. Stop policing the music people sing. It's a problem. The theme of the decorations is enough. Two complaints over the karaoke vs hundreds of people walking out because they can't sing what they want is a serious issue to consider. U'd make more money just letting people sing vs policing what they sing.
Excellent themed cocktails, fabulous seasonal atmosphere, the staff are *absolutely* delightful. Karaoke night is a hoot; everyone was having a good time.

came here last night for Emo Trivia to celebrate my early birthday & stayed until Emo Karaoke ended. Such a fun night! The bartender who served me was so nice and considerate when I told her I couldn't drink the ginger that came in my complimentary welcome drink. I will definitely come back here again since I'm always around the corner at another bar and definitely going to the Emo Christmas event here again. :]

Poor Leon. He works so hard…. To clear a room. Literally have never seen an entire room - a room of ONE PARTY- clear so fast for one employe’s exemplary TERRIBLE behavior.
Bar was fantastic! Daniella is an absolute princess and was actually proud / excited to give the lay of the land. Hey girl hey!
It only takes one Karen(Leon) to kill a vibe and I can assure you they did. Life is hard, but damn if the guy being tipped for their service isn’t gonna make it the hardest. Working karaoke off Franklin is too much, but otherwise the spot is dope.
The staff here is down to earth and fun, specifically the manager, Daniela, is always warm & welcoming which is really what makes the place so special on top of having excellent cocktails. This is bar is a hidden Hollywood Gem. 💎 The vibes are always immaculate. Great atmosphere for an upscale date night or a more laid back night out with friends. ♥️

There was only 2 bar tenders and no bar tender in the back bar. Needed that 1 person in the back bar. And seating was tight so wear comfy shoes to be standing most of the time.

My youngest daughter and I visited for Sabrina Carpenter's Pop Up Bar 🩷 Super cute, fun and drinks were on point 👍🏽 Karaoke was a plus and kudos to the brave singers 👏🏽
We purchased tickets in advance for a tequila & mezcal tasting.
They were very disorganized, first they listed 4:30 pm as the start time, then they called us and asked to come in an hour later AND THEN they double booked - had two events going on at the same time and they were moving us around from one spot to another - very unprofessional! The guy sin charge of the second event was very rude and was telling us to move! The event was supposed to be a tasting but let me tell you, they just poured the cheapest mezcal they had at the bar and gave us 4 mini shots of each - that is NOT how you do a tasting. Never going back there and wouldn't recommend this place to anyone...

Came by this place last week, only had two drinks and stayed around a bit for the Kareoke. Got an email this morning from my credit card asking if the charge was correct because the tip was kinda high. Turns out the guy added an additional 5 bucks to my total as a tip. To future visitors, I’d keep an eye on your totals cuz if they do it on small tabs, I’m sure they’ll do it on large ones. It was kinda slow when I went, only about 4-6 people in the place. Doesn’t mean you should alter peoples checks to get your money.

I recently hosted an event here and couldn't be happier with how it turned out. The staff is amazing, the ambiance is perfect for an intimate (<100 person) events, and the inclusive, queer-friendly environment made all our guests feel comfortable and at home. The booking process was unusually pleasant because their Events Manager is responsive, super friendly, and easy to work with. When I arrived early to set up, everyone was awesome and welcoming. And my guests loved it.I was also pleasantly surprised by how affordable the venue was. Given the high level of service, the exceptional quality of drinks, and the cool atmosphere of the bar, I expected the cost to be much higher.Overall, I was thrilled with the experience and plan to host more events there in the future. Huge thanks to the entire team at Oaks Hollywood!

The Oaks is my favorite hidden spot in Hollywood. It's sumptuous decor and reasonably priced drinks set it apart from the many bars along Hollywood Blvd. The old fashioned they have on tap, it's amazing. The burlesque shows are inclusive and body positive, which is a rarity in LA. Friday nights are goth night and the DJs spin NEW music, not just the classics.
