Not here anymore. Only reason we stopped through LA and it wasn't even here. Sad. If this shop ever opens again, hopefully they'll let people know.

Best PBJ shop I’ve had. I like to go here for a desert after eating at one of the places here!

Parking: There is indoor parking available, don’t remember cost. Always able to find street parking if you do a lap or two.

Recommended dishes: Superfood PB&J, The Elvis, Red Eye Regular, Old School

Really great concept and place! I got the Ol’ Fashioned, which has pecan butter and it was fantastic. At first, I would have given a lower rating because I placed an order and they basically forgot about my order. I was waiting for a while and noticed that the people after me had not only gotten their sandwich, but finished eating it too. So I went up to the cashier and asked if my order was ready. In a panic he realized they had forgotten about it. I was pretty disappointed.Moments later, the worker (manager?) handed me and my friend two free almond milk drinks to compensate for the mistake. That definitely made up for it and shows that they have a good business model. Will definitely come back next time I am in LA!

It was great to see that this place uses coconut sugar and the menu offers very nice variety of pb sandwiches, but...but I d like to emerge a hygienic habits of the staff. The girl was a very nice person, but she didn't change her gloves walking from cash desk to the corner where she was going to make my sandwich, with the same gloves she took a piece of bread and started to make it without any hesitation. Then other customer comes in the middle of this process. She comes to them and press the button on display, touches the screen with the same gloves. Then she turns back to make another sandwich meanwhile mine is toasting, then something falls on the floor and she picks it up with the same gloves. Then she hands me my sandwich...I didn't eat the outside bread and just ate the banana jam with peanut butter and chocolate chips ('Elvis' filling). It was not bad but I've totally refused to eat the bread because of the past events. That's not okay and I think should be addressed. So please, tell the staff there and pressure them to change their habits because their gloves are not for them or the fashion but for our food. I d gladly come back if this was changed. But till then I am not feeling safe to eat there...

PBJ.LA was a "meh" experience. We ordered the Indian and Elvis. I could not decide if I liked the Indian or not. It was a fine flavor, but I think the texture and cold center with warm bread was odd for me. My boyfriend and I liked the Elvis. However, for relatively overpriced nut butter sandwiches, the person working was pretty rude. I understand everyone has off days, and normally, service doesn't bother me, but between the iffy service, (sorry, but mediocre) sandwiches that you could make at home, and the price… I was unimpressed. I try to support all veg restaurants, and if you love nut butter, this may interest you. Otherwise, it may be worth exploring other options in the market.

This place is amazing. It's so much more than peanut butter and jelly. The Indian sandwich was one of the best sandwiches I've been had. The flavors were incredible. Try the Red Eye and the Old School with Fluff, too. The banana jam in the Elvis was spectacular and so much better than PB& banana. Amazing.

That ol fashioned with the butter pecan butter and apple jam is just ?. Added some of the marshmallow fluff (could swear there’s a hit of nutmeg in there). Will be dreaming of this sandwich. GO THERE NOW

Worst food in the Grand Central Market. Let's be fair. It was clean, and there was no line. So, two good things. On the other hand, (1) there is no bread choice (2) these are smushed and the edges crimped, and the crust is torn off. They resemble "uncrustables," a frozen pbj sandwich. (3) they are overstuffed, ratio of nut butter to jelly is bad; the insides gush out, and the bread cannot stand up to the jam so it leaks as soon as you get it. High end? Because they offer cashew butter and hazelnut butter and because the jam might have wine in it? I don't think so. We threw ours out. Grand Central has many other places to eat; you can do much better. Highly disappointing.

I had the super and it was great. Loved the nuttiness of the almond butter and the jam was superb.
