This is an outstanding Italian restaurant, and we've been to many great Italian restaurants in both Los Angeles and New York. I was extremely impressed not only with the quality of the food but also the fabulous service. Great spot, probably my favorite Italian restaurant in Los Angeles now.
We like everything about the restaurant the food is delicious. The ambience is great fun . Natalie is a terrific hostess . She makes the whole experience special. my favorite restaurant on the west side.
The food is delicious and well done - I've had many meals here and had most of the dishes - Lando served, pork chop, fish, calamari, panzanella salad, asparagus soup - all good, all flavorful, really well done. Atmosphere of restaurant is great - every table is intimate and charming, with the open kitchen, makes you feel like you are eating in someone's home.
Amazing food!! Service is outstanding! Price ranges - specials can be a bit pricy but the menus price is far less than the food quality.
Overall, the restaurant (our second visit) was excellent. The two appetizers we had were Zucchini blossoms, which were tasty and just had enough cheese and crispy; the second was Cavoletti (brussels sprouts), which just had enough balsamic to crunch down on. The main courses were cacio e pepe in the cheese bowl. Excellent! With the branzino, it is prepared on the delicate side selectively. I had the langoustine, consisting of 4 shells, the appendages of which one could not suck on as they were hard and not soft, but the meat within the Langoustine was soft and chewy, with the hint of lemon and seasoning. Deserts were tiramisu and bread pudding. The price for the Langoustine alone was $85.00 that was the only issue I had with the restaurant, but I assume all prices now approach over the top! I did have a beer - Mastri - which was a heavy/thick blond type of beer - very satisfying, unlike an American beer. Service was excellent. Errol Stambler
I'd been craving the grilled langostines from Vincente and when I learned that Osteria Vera is operated by the former chef of Vincente I had to go and it was as delicious as I remembered. Great vibe, great food and service. All reasonably priced.
We enjoyed the bread, calamari, and meatball appetizers. The server was attentive. The Cacio E Pepe, was very good. The shrimp and lobster entree was very good but needed more kick....a bit bland. The Burrata Gnocchi was good but larger gnocchi than normal. The Tiramisu and Cannoli were excellent.
Exactly what you need for dinner, beautiful atmosphere , great service, delicious food and friendly people, stuff .. Looking forward to seeing you soon again and again.. 💗ciao

Wonderful food. The chestnut soup was delicious. The pasta and fish were fresh and amazing.
The food, the place, the service, the decor - everything was perfect. This restaurant has champed a few times in the last decade, but this one is perfection.
Poorly staffed service for the number of guests. Took a long time to get attention, and while they bought us a class of wine in apology, salad and entrees, while tasty, took too long to arrive.
The pastas and the appetizers are outstanding. The only downside is that the service is quite slow. I waited a long time between ordering and getting your food.
Have eaten there before and will continue to do so. Natalie is delightful. The chef is genuinely talented,
