Exquisite Italian food. Focaccia, Cacio e Pepe, Lemon pasta, Lamb. Chef from the glorious and now closed Vincente. Splendid service. And wonderful to eat outside. We went there when it first opened and constantly return.

This was our first experience eating at Osteria Vera, and it certainly didn't disappoint. The restaurant is well appointed and attractive (and includes an outdoor enclosed patio area). The food is exceptional, as is the extremely good service (our waitperson was Jean, a delightful Brazilian who obviously takes great pride in his work). We will be going back to Osteria Vera many, many times and have recommended it to our foodie-friends.

Tables were too close to each other and the noise level was too much for me. The server came over to our table immediately, introduced himself, was very gracious, took our order and then was not to be seen. There were many busboys but not quite the same. I thought the salads were very good as was the bolognese. The filet of sole cooked in parchment paper with potato slices and tomatoes that look like scales used to be my favorite dish under the old owner. At some point the type of fish changed and it is not that good anymore.

We celebrated our daughter's graduation party at the restaurant today. Jean, the manager was amazing. He had the patience to explain all of the dishes to us, especially to my daughter. My mom is vegetarian and the chef made her a special dish that was amazingly delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a night out and for special occasions.

This was my first time here. My husband and i were greeted by a friendly host and were seated right away. Our server came quickly and she was very helpful with the menu. We started with the Crudo from the specials menu. The chef sent over complimentary Brussels Sprouts which were delicious. I ordered the Sole and my husband had the Veal. Both dishes were from the Special Menu as well and they were both delicious. Unfortunately we didn't have room for dessert. We can't wait to come back and order other dishes from the menu and hopefully save room for dessert. The service was perfection, food was delicious and ambience lively. Will recommend Osteria Vera to everyone.
