Such a nice and cozy place. Completely unassuming. The omelet was so light and fluffy and the greens were so fresh. The Big MEC is to die for. So tender, slightly rich and the gravy is so tasteful. What an elevated take on the Big Mac haha absolutely loved it. The customer service was top tier! Very highly recommended.

This spot has been on our list for a while—mostly because we tend to avoid this area like the plague.

There is valet parking for around $15, but the valet guy mentioned we’d likely find free street parking instead. Shoutout to him for being real.

We went around 4:30p on a Saturday, made a reservation the night before, and were seated at the bar. The hostess was quick, friendly, and helpful—no complaints there.

Service overall was… inconsistent. It was either nonexistent or way too attentive, with no in-between, which is disappointing given the price point. HOWEVER—Jake the bartender absolutely saved the experience. He jumped in whenever he could, always with a smile. Truly excellent at his job. Give that man a raise.

Now for the food and drinks.

We had the gin peach cocktail (SO good) and my spouse ordered a mocktail, which they absolutely demolished. 100/10.

Food-wise, we ordered the endive salad, the Big Mec, filet au poivre, and finished with the crème brûlée.

The endive salad was our favorite by far. The Big Mec’s meat was stunning, but the burger overall was very heavy—exactly as expected. The steak was solid, though you’d probably be just as happy with a less expensive cut. The crème brûlée was fine, but nothing memorable.

All in all, glad we tried it.

Outstanding dishes and cocktails done well. This team takes the time, care and attention to do traditional French fare really damn well.

Very good food, true French cuisine. But overpriced. A croque madame for $30, crazy. Even at Carette, a parisian institution (although a tourist trap now), it costs half that. Oh and a Baguette for 10$, the French would have a revolution if they ever saw that in a menu back home.

Service was slow, french onion souped lacked flavor the steak tartare tasted very poor and overall way too expensive for what you’re getting

We had such an amazing experience at Petit Trois thanks to our server, Zhene Miller. She was absolutely phenomenal warm, fun, and genuinely attentive. She always seemed to know exactly when to bring things out, and somehow managed to guess our tastes perfectly. Her customer care wasn’t just great, it was Oscar-worthy. If there were an Academy Award for “Best Server,” she’d win it without question. 100/10!

We visited the café for my friend’s birthday breakfast and ordered the Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon. The food was not bad, though nothing particularly special. There was a lot of sautéed spinach and very little smoked salmon. That said, the service was attentive, friendly, and courteous. Overall, it left a good impression. I can definitely recommend it for a visit, but it’s not a place that will become my personal favorite.

Excellent food. And they had the lunch special. But for a salad(mediocre), a steak and fries(Excellent) and a dessert (simple), once you add service, taxes and tips, it came to $75 per person. For lunch.

Having travelled around the world, I already know how French onion soup tastes, and the same goes with a burger. My wife and I went to Petit Trois expecting a “good” version of these from Chef Ludo. Instead, we were treated to a surprise, an almost magical one.

The soup was divine. The burger, the Big Mec, was heaven bite after bite after bite. It’s a small yet very cozy place, just like a beautiful cafe/bistro in France, and we appreciated the superb service from start to the very finish. And how they appreciated our flying in thousands of miles to (finally) try Chef Ludo’s masterpieces.

Definitely a highlight of our trip. Merci beaucoup, Petit Trois! More power!

Never a bad experience, I’ve loved every meal at Petit Trois.

Exceptional food, great quality, amazing flavors, rich, bold, and filling! May be pricey but you get big portions.

Always gotta get the big Mec. One of the best burgers in LA. The omelette is always perfect. the Croque Madame is one of the few you can find made right in LA. The steak frites are also a must!

I came here with my mother who was visiting from out of town, and it was so cool. It was smaller than we expected, but I really liked the style of sitting at the counter and watching them cook, clean and prepare food. Everything was so delicious even the simple salad that they gave us. It felt really personable and felt like we were hanging out with the staff.

It was super windy otherwise we would have sat outside

Everything was wonderful and the staff were super sweet and patient
