I come here to enjoy a good bowl of soup. I have lunch with my co workers often. This week my coworkers and I went to enjoy soup on a cold rainy day. My only concern is the older guy they have to bring your order to the table is not friendly. I was trying to communicate by asking him something pertaining to my order he just kept saying. WHAT??? WHAT??? in an aggressive manner. So, I changed my mind of trying to communicate with him. Maybe, there was a language barrier but I felt like he wasn't trying to assist or get someone who that can.

Being the last remaining Vietnamese restaurant in LA's Chinatown, Pho87 continues to serve a delicious bowl of Pho and many other Vietnamese cuisines.

Bowls of beef broth come in two sizes and are enough to fill a warm belly. Dining is without fluff and with just traditional goodness. Ingredients are fresh and not as skimpy as some other places are currently. Beef and/or Chicken are the go-to. There are better examples, but you'll have to head farther eastward.

The fried egg rolls are slightly below average, but the spring rolls are usually good.

Rice noodles in both the Pho and Bun dishes are always fresh and not overly cooked, which is a sign of a very important detail.

Parking is street, and there is a private lot just behind the building with an entrance just beyond the soft-sided overhang.

No meat. I got food poisoning once from old spring roll. They must have premade it. It was dry

Worst pho and Bun bo I’ve ever had. The place is super dirty and the food was just full of sugar. I paid 60 dollars for 3 horrible dishes..

The meat was very dry and quality is medium level, the space is very tight, long queue to get on the table, waited for 20 minutes and got this quality of food, not impressed.

Best pho ever, and that delicious broth was amazing! The Royal pork egg rolls and shrimp spring rolls are a must have! Great atmosphere and service! Beyond impressed I will definitely return soon!

The best Pho in downtown LA. Love the #10 with fatty brisket and noodles.

I’ve been in search for the best bowl of pho in LA. The search isn’t over, but Pho 87 at the moment is in my opinion the best pho in LA. They are super generous with the portion, especially when you get the super bowl. The broth on its own is very delicious, but they provide plenty of toppings to customize the taste of your bowl.

Their egg rolls are very good. Not the best I’ve had, but very tasty.

Their springs rolls, however, are the best spring rolls I’ve had in LA. Very savory, with the peanut sauce. I think about them often 😔

The service is very friendly, and parking is plenty, if you go on the Weekdays. Weekends should be good too, but go early.

This place has become my go-to Pho spot. It’s definitely worth the hour drive 😌

I called before I went to make sure they accepted cards. Thankfully they do 🙌🏽 I got there at 7pm and they close at 8pm so I didn't want to waste time going to the bank 😅. I got the #2 which is a large combination beef. (#1 is a regular combination beef) .. as you can see I dress my soup up really spicy with all the fixings but I tasted the broth before I added everything and the broth was really delicious. It tasted really smooth and delicious, very authentic. I went by myself for the first time was a little nervous but it was actually a great experience. They have plenty of tables for pairs, if you're eating by yourself or in groups. They have a mini fish pond in the front when you first come in. I forgot to take a picture of that and they have a TV. They were playing the basketball game when I got there. I highly recommend, the staff was really nice and helpful, take your friends and your family. It was delicious

You know it’s gonna be that real shit when the menu has the weird English. 🇧🇷

It’s pretty pricey unfortunately, a bowl of pho will be around $20. If you can make it to SGV, there’s not much reason to go here

P.S. They 100% accept card, Google Maps have reliable information challenge
