Left a cash tip & then later noticed they adjusted my card payment to be $20 more, I called & asked why and they said it was because they didnt process the tip. I told them I left it in cash, they responded like they do that often (add tips to stuff afterwards) & they’d return the extra payment they took. Its been a while, never got refunded. Dont leave any cash tips or you’ll get double charged.

My husband swears by the black bean noodles, but he wouldn't let me take its picture. I, on the other hand, love the spring rolls and chicken pho. The staff is attentive and friendly. This place is POPULAR! And for good reason. You may arrive when its either very busy or dead. Take your chances. The pho will lift your spirits to the high heavens. Feeling down? Order a pho. Got the flu? Order the chicken pho. You won't be disappointed.

I don't recommend taking it with you, they put three pieces of meat in it
Don't order the pho I guess. Compared to what I'm used to it was a let down though the other dishes I saw the other patrons eating looked good

Ok quality - middle of the road for Pho in LA, but about a 1/2 size portion marked up 20-30% what you'd pay elsewhere

Raw piece of chicken in my pho — found after eating a few bites. Not feeling well. This is completely unacceptable!

First time coming here and it was delicious. The owner was very nice, had great service and amazing food. I suggest not eating before you arrive since the pho is loaded, but absolutely worth it. The pork katsu was also amazing. Would definitely come here again.

Flavorful vegan options. The vegan pho & vegan black bean sauce noodles are a must try.

It is one of the best places I have been, the food and everything is out of this world. I recommend you come when it's cold, it makes the food way more yummy.

Some foods are ok, some foods are bad. You just need to choose the right one. Price is little high for the food..
I always go here with my family since we really enjoy the food! My parents always get spicy seafood soup along with shrimp fried rice, while I sometimes get jjajangmyeon or chicken katsu! The service is really fast when the place is not packed, but there are times when the service takes a while.

I’ve been a customer here for over year Never coming back the Asian lady is so rude and literally sits all the poc in one section and the Asians get to choose their seats.like if you’re racist just say that. I also witnessed her yell at a little boy for touching the wall which was completely ridiculous.

I LOVE jjambbong. It is truly rare to find a place that does it right. The key ingredient missing in so many of these restaurants is this:Smoky/burnt flavor from the hot fire to grill the seafood and the vegetables. This place has it! This is the only one of two places in all of Los Angeles AND Orange County that I found, which is really strange to me, tbh. Jjambbong without this isn't jjambbong. Will be back for more, for sure.
