This place is gooood!. Service is friendly and usually pretty quick. I’ve been coming here for the past two years and i love the wings and the pizza is tasty. Spacing used to be a little tight to want to dine in but they’ve recently made more room to want to do that. And it’s cleannn, that’s a biggie for me!

Piece O' Pizza a stalwart place for decent pizza and Italian food in the 70s, 80s,90s and early 2000s. The last remaining restaurant is in West L.A. on Venice Blvd. and after many years decided to go there tonight=Mistake. I wanted to order Eggplant Parmesan which was on the electronic menu. The young woman taking my order did not understand me. She kept asking if I wanted meat on my salad, then she thought I was ordering a meatball sandwich. After 3Xs telling her I wanted Eggplant Parmesan with pasta she finally got it right. I also ordered garlic bread which was fantastic. The Eggplant Parmesan not so much. I have never had Eggplant fried on a grill to almost burnt and then mixed in sauce. I ate a third of it thinking I would finish it the next day. Nope tossed the leftovers in the trash, except for the garlic bread which I kept. There were no printed menus to look at. That might have helped in the ordering process. Memo to management. Print some freaking menus. Paper is cheap, printing in bulk is cheap and the menu can be designed on a computer which doesn't cost a lot. Instead looking up at message board that changes quickly. All in all not going back.

I stopped at Piece O’Pizza the other day because I always drive past it and thought it looked cool. Let me tell you something. I should’ve came sooner.
The calzone was one of the best things I’ve had the honor of tasting. First of all, it’s huge. You could definitely eat off a single calzone for 2 meals. Not me though. They were lucky I didn’t eat the box. It was stuffed full of cheese, pepperoni, sausage, onion, peppers, olives literally EVERYTHING you could imagine. It was very moist and full of the juice from the veggies and tomatoes. The crust was flaky and garlicky, and the ratio of crust to filling was perfect. It comes with a side of marinara, which was great for the little bits of crust at the ends.
The burger was also great, very homestyle ingredients and came with fries. Ranch is 1.50, but it’s the good housemade ranch and was bomb with the burger.
Overall, this place was great. Sure, it’s not the most aesthetic, and you’re not going to get waited on, but it’s got heart and great food, and that’s what matters to me! 😼

The food was sub par at best, the place looked and felt dirty. I actually didn't want to touch anything inside so I ate it outside out of the trunk of my car because that felt cleaner than inside.
