I love a Korean BBQ spot where they cook your meat for you. Definitely something that I look for and the staff here does a great job. They are pretty nice and they cook the food really well. There is a decent amount of banchan and the Pigya tasting menu is fantastic. Plenty of meat included in the servings. Aside from meat, it includes a steamed egg, kimchi fried rice, and hangover ramen. It got a bit smokey but the fans were strong and helpful. My friend tried the soju cocktail which was pretty sweet and not that strong. Tasty though! Definitely recommend grabbing lunch or dinner here because the food was great quality.

Now for my standard comments. The location is clean and well kept. Comfortable indoor seating.

The meat here is soo good!! The service is also really nice and they are really good at cooking the meat for you without overcooking. One of the best things here is actually their cucumber banchan I was obsessed and kept asking for more. Definitely going back multiple times.

Edit: came back again today and as usual their cucumbers were like crack. I ate 5 plates of it myself LOL. The japchae is good too. Meat and service was good again as expected, definitely recommend eating the beef with salt and wasabi. We usually order the pigya set for 2-3 people as a 2 person party and leave satisfied!

Food was delicious, cuts of beef and pork were fresh.

Only downside of this place is that they seem to be in such a rush to get you out. We went right at 5pm when they reopened for dinner service. The moment we sat down, multiple servers came over asking to take our order even though we said we needed more time.

Once the food came, they would come over and help cook the meats (which was great) but we couldnt even finish the previous meat in time and they kept rushing to cook the next thing.

When you ask them to refill your banchan (side dishes) they give you a dirty look or attitude as its free/ included in the meal anyway. We dont like to hoard tables but there was 4 other tables max in the restaurant with no line.

Spending 250+ for 3 people, i would've at least liked to sit a bit longer and enjoy my food.

Food was really good but you eat a lot more pork than beef obviously so if you want to have more balance/ more beef then don’t go here. If you like pork a lot then it’s definitely your place. Prices are good for being this quality and combo meals and I definitely was full afterwards. The banchan was also really good and service was great. Parking is a little hard but you’ll find a spot.

I loved the experience. The server was very patient and they helped us cook all of the pork bellies. The quality of the pork is very good. I really love the pork collar. The meat is so fresh and juicy. the amount of the food is available for three to four people, especially girls. This is going to be one of my favorite barbecue place from now on.

I had an exceptional dining experience at Pigya Korean BBQ. The food was absolutely amazing — fresh, flavorful, and expertly prepared. Each dish was a delightful balance of taste, and the grill provided a fun and interactive way to enjoy the meal. The quality of the meats and the variety of side dishes truly stood out, making this one of the best Korean BBQ experiences I've had.

The only minor drawback was that there weren’t any dessert options available, which was a bit disappointing given the overall high standard of the meal. That said, the savory offerings more than made up for it, and I left fully satisfied.

Highly recommend this spot for anyone craving delicious Korean BBQ with a welcoming atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back!

Our favorite Korean BBQ - their pork belly makes our family bellies happy. Most reasonable, high quality BBQ in ktown. Connie is THE best there. Chosun used to be our favorite but couldn't leave there w/o a 300+ bill.

Okay, I ended up finding out about this place because Jungkook of BTS dined here on one of his visit to LA. Highly recommend reservations (that you can make on Yelp!) if you plan to dine during the usual meal times. I had a reservation for Saturday at 2:15 pm and it wasn't too packed, so I think I could've gotten away with walking in during off peak hours.

We got the small pork gyu set off their tasting menu ($78) which comes with 2 cuts of pork and 2 cuts of beef, along with steamed egg, wagyu carpaccio, kimchi fried rice, and hangover ramen. The small is more than enough for 2 people. BF eyed the a la carte menu and also ordered beef tongue ($32). All the meat plus the steamed egg and wagyu carpaccio comes out first. After you're almost done, they cook the fried rice on the grill. And after that, they bring out the hangover ramen in a metal pot to put onto the grill. The cuts of meat were so good! I'm completely fine with it not being AYCE. And there was plenty for me to take home to enjoy the next day.

Our server Connie cut our meat up and did the cooking for us. She's very personable and made our meal entertaining!

So, the parking situation here is street parking or private lot. Since I hate paying for parking, I found a spot at a nearby street. I did see the valet signs inside the restaurant while dining, so maybe there's no charge for parking in the lot during the day. The lot is small though, so you may end up going with street parking anyways.

Table is too small so you get oil spatters on yourself

Not enough food for 4 people, especially for multiple men. The beef portions were tiny once cooked

And the ramen at the end tasted like cheap cup of noodles.

Atmosphere is fun and lively
