You can't go wrong with ANYTHING on the menu! Fresh, yummy ingredients and the best service. My favorite Pinches of them all!
So delicious! The tacos were amazing and the service was also great 10/10 recommend.
Pinches Tacos is a family-owned Mexican restaurant chain rooted in Los Angeles, California, renowned for its commitment to authentic flavors and high-quality ingredients. Established in 2006 by the Anaya family, the restaurant’s name pays homage to their great-uncles who, according to family lore, cooked for the revolutionary Pancho Villa—hence the term “Pinches,” meaning “cooks” in Spanish .
The menu showcases a variety of traditional Mexican dishes, including tacos, burritos, enchiladas, quesadillas, and tortas. Signature offerings feature meats such as grilled Angus beef (asada), slow-broiled marinated pork (al pastor), chicken in mole sauce (pollo mole), and vegetarian options like sautéed vegetables and cactus (nopal) .
Pinches Tacos emphasizes fresh, handmade components, from their corn tortillas to their garden vegetables, ensuring a flavorful dining experience. With multiple locations across California—including West Hollywood, Westwood, Culver City, Santa Monica, and Downtown Los Angeles—the restaurant has become a staple for those seeking genuine Mexican cuisine in a welcoming atmosphere .
Incredibly Mid breakfast burrito. This is like a white persons idea of good Mexican food, take that as it is. I like my B.B. to have eggs, bacon, cheese. Guac. Rice maybe. But this comes with the bare bones egg scramble with salsa. I had to ask for bacon and I am so bummed I also requested cheese and they didn't add it
Absolutely amazing experience.
From the moment I walked in, the service was outstanding — kind, attentive, and warm. I ordered a chicken burrito and was offered three types of chicken to choose from — I went with al pastor, and it was a perfect choice. The burrito was served beautifully cut in half, with chips and salsa on the side (which I didn’t even expect — such a nice touch!). The presentation on the plate was great, and they even brought it right to my table, which made me feel truly welcomed.
The salsa was fresh, the chips were crispy, and the burrito itself — full of flavor, satisfying, and clearly made with care. Add to that a cold glass bottle of Mexican Coca-Cola, and it just felt like a real treat.
It’s rare to find a spot that delivers both great food and genuinely great energy. I’ve just found my go-to Mexican place. Big thanks to the team — you’ve earned yourself a loyal regular!
Great tacos with fresh handmade tortillas. Bit pricey but worth every penny. Deliciousness galore.

I ordered 3 tacos: chicken, veggie and fish plus a drink. My total was over $20. I dont mind paying, but these were quite possibly the worst tacos ive ever had. The veggie and fish were both covered in a dry and flavorless cole slaw. After wiping that off the fish wasnt too bad. The veggie had no seasoning and all the tortillas fell apart in my hand. Chicken was dry and flavorless. I’m a big boy but couldnt even finish one of them. When i went inside to politely complain the guy at the counter said, “order the steak or pork next time.” There wont be a next time for me…

Pinches Tacos on Sunset Blvd is a great little taco shack for a quick bite. There is a nice little outdoor patio where you can sit and eat your meal. I enjoyed my chicken enchiladas very much.
