Pine & Crane has a stylish, modern vibe and a menu that puts a fresh spin on classic Taiwanese and Chinese dishes. The ingredients taste fresh, and the presentation is solid. I really enjoyed the Dan Dan noodles and the Mapo Tofu —both had great texture and flavor.

That said, the experience didn’t totally live up to the hype. The service was friendly but slow, and a couple of dishes, like the hot and sour soup and beef noodle soup lacked the boldness...
Giving a five stars is because it’s a Taiwanese restaurant. Happy to taste some home flavor!

It was my first time visit this restaurant in the morning. I ordered pan fried pork buns, you tiao, iced sweetened soy milk, and a fan tuan to go. I highly recommend fan tuan because the taste is actually the same in Taiwan. For pork buns, not much flavorful. The soy milk is pretty good actually!

I will come by lunch or dinner time to try different...
I’ve been to this spot about three times and all times it’s been a great spot to be satisfied for lunch/dinner.

My most recent order I got their taro milk tea boba with egg pudding and red bean. It was a solid drink and very filling.

I’ve had their Taiwanese sausage to mix with their minced pork on rice. The sausage was excellent but I wasn’t a fan of the minced pork. The beef roll was a solid meal also with great flavors. The Taiwanese...
