Whenever I travel to Los Angeles. Me and my family always book a reservation to Pips! For the amazing live music and friendly staff, with delicious Italian dishes 😋 It has been a family tradition to visit whenever we are in town 🙌🏼
Excellent atmosphere/ambience and decor, delicious food, quality service, and so much more! Thank you, Jeanette, Lupe, and Derrick for making our night out a wonderful and classy event. We’ll continue to make PIPS on La Brea our venue of choice.
Ok spot
Our first time at Pip’s on Labrea, it was Awesome! We were in town celebrating my birthday! We found out about Pip’s searching black owned businesses in LA. The location was convenient for our Uber drop off and pick up. The staff were very nice and attentive, from the time we arrived and were seated, to the time we left! It was R&B live music night and it was all that! They even called us “birthday” people up on stage, played HBD and had the entire place singing along!! We all did a lil two step dance!! The chef is amazing, I had the pacific salmon, it was cooked to perfection and plated very well! I also had cake that they gave me a candle and wrote HBD on my plate! We will definitely visit Pip’s again and agai!
❤️❤️❤️
Incredible vibes and beautiful people.
Music was great, as was the food and drinks 🍸. Although we went to see a singer who was no longer there, we were pleasantly surprised by the new group, singer and presentation. The jam session with other artists was so exciting. The staff was very helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening.
We had a great time. Our ladies brunch group was held at Pips. It was my first time here. I received a warm welcome as soon as I entered.
Every staff member I interacted with was great. They took great care of us. Sangria & Mimosas in cute glasses were waiting for us on the counter upon entry.
The fans came out for the song that shall not be named 😆 But, we appreciate you, Mr. FAN! Cause we had a wonderful time.
I'm looking forward to returning to experience the evening vibes.

The Cheers Place of LA - Best Vibe Guaranteed!!!!!
I invited my friends from out of town and out of state. There was three of us having appetizers, drinks and dinner. We also wanted to hear some Jazz. The music was great...!!! We ordered drinks and appetizers. While eating and drinking and enjoying ourselves, our table-buster/server came and removed our dishes from the table while my guest had her hand on her food to eat it. He just took it away quickly. Their knotted garlic bread must have been cooked in the microwave because they were all hard as bricks.
And don't get me wrong, the place is beautiful. The ambience was beautiful almost spiritual, but some other patrons were ratchet. Very rowdy and classless…!!! Twerking on the none dance floor too close for comfort. People were looking at them in disgrace. When I bring guests I want them to have an awesome experience so my next visit will be to Spaghettini’s. They don't allow such nonsense.
We never did order dinner...!!! I already spent $157.00 on appetizers, drinks, and tips. Why spend more for not so good service.
Amazing music & great appetizers!
This is a great atmosphere hands down. Live band good good good music. All oldies but goodies in all artist form.. However do not order the OXTAILS IF YOU'RE AFRICAN AMERICAN. They are not like anything you ever taste... To be perfectly honest they could use a different chef, that's familiar with African-American dishes or Spanish dishes.. my group ordered different things chicken fish Pizza etc. The wings were very good. No white rice or gravy the spinach was soggy and tasteless... The atmosphere made up for all the things that were wrong... Lowlights good music look up and see stars for there is no roof so neat. The servers spoke pretty good English. A good cook is DEFINITELY needed. We enjoyed ourselves. Oh and the valet parking guys could use a little customer service training... They were not very polite or patient. 😕. I would rate this place about 93 in all honesty.. I ordered a 20$ drink it was just like I made it at home 😉😉😋 🤤 yummy!! I would go to this restaurant again but I would not order oxtails.
Tonight was my first time ever coming here, and I was simply blown away. The service, entertainment and food was AMAZING! Joshua, our server, was the absolute BEST! I will definitely be back thanks to Joshua!
