Best I've had in LA. Hand tossed crust is closest to my favorite in NorCal, and the Chicago style deep dish is super authentic. But the owner also add some contemporary touches like using San Marzano tomatoes for the sauce. You can tell he cares a lot about his pizza and having it hot and fresh for his customers.

I am BEYOND distraught that Eric and his Marvelous Pizza Jones is closed. I had no idea at all and wondered why the phone wasn't going through. As soon as I pulled up I was shocked and dismayed. I just sat there in my car for at least 20 min trying to figure out what Iife was gonna become without Pizza Jones. For only but a glimmer in time, we had the greatest pizza Boyle Heights has ever known. All I can say Eric is that you are supremely appreciated and will be missed terribly. Our time together was definitely cut far too short. I wish you and your wife the ABSOLUTE best Eric and look forward to seeing you and your perfect pies again sometime in the very near future. Thank you for your high standards and perfectionism. I hope one way or another you have found a home with us in L.A. and that you can still find a way to continue to flourish (pun intended) here. Pizza Jones was my go-to pizza joint. The Garbage Can Pizza was the bomb! Word is the owner was closed down for operating without a Health Permit. Pizza Jones will be missed.

Been REALLY wanting to try this pizza place out since I moved out here, but they don't deliver to downtown, however I was in their delivery range in relation to the USC medical campus. Who wants to eat hospital food all the time right? I quietly placed the order while my gf was sleeping and didn't want to alert her to me eating it because that would be SO unfair of me since she was in recovery mode. And the last thing I wanted to do was be some sort of enabler. No this isn't My 600lb Life over here but I couldn't bare to do that to her while she's on a controlled diet before/after her surgery. But the pizza was really delicious. Good choices, good options, great taste and great ingredients. I ordered a hand tossed veggie and it was certainly delicious. Just the right amount of crispy crust which tied into the cheese melted in. The pizza looked exactly how it did in the picture and was yummy. Some of the nurses were clamoring about what they were going to do for dinner so I told them a pizza was coming and I wound up sharing the pizza with the nursing team since they let me eat it in the break room. They all really liked it also, so you've won over some fans there. Shortly after eating it, she woke up and saw the Yelp notification about the pizza delivery on her phone. The account is synced on our phones omg how could I forget that?? She wasn't mad though and when she can go back on a full diet we'll both be back here again!

I was craving pizza and wanted a good spot close to home! I don't eat pizza that often so when I crave it I'm pretty picky! I found Pizza Jones on yelp close to home and decided to try it out! I loved the spot! It was clean, great service, great conversation, and the pizza was PERFECTLY made and satisfied my craving! I will definitely be trying this spot again and making it part of my new eating joints in Boyle Heights! Yum!

Phenomenal AUTHENTIC Chicago-style pizza! Wow. Upon ordering we were told that the recipe was perfected by a Chicago native- he was NOT WRONG. We ordered a thin crust L.A. Smog & a deep dish Deluxe. Holy cow. Mega delicious! This place will not disappoint.

Ordered 3 pizzas. The toppings, cheese and sauce tasted great. The crust was a bit chewy. Unfortunately found a long blonde hair in our food. All brunettes at this house. Hopefully I'm wrong and it was a fabric string? Will give it another try soon. Update to follow. JUST LET ME LOVE YOU!
Absolutely delicious deep dish pizza! Very authentic and fresh! I live Boyle heights and I can't believe I haven't heard of this place! I love deep dish pizza and before I had to go to Echo Park or doughbox to get my fix. Not anymore, this place is great and the quality is authentic. Staff is very friendly and cool. I always admire places with small menus, you know they're good at what they do that they don't need filler. I'm definitely gonna become a regular here, already told my friends about it and they're excited about it. The owner is admirable and passionate about what he does, I admire people who live for and love their craft. I wish nothing but the best for this place.

This was our first time stopping by and we got greeted and welcomed to the pizza place. You have to go in to see the great dynamic of the place. It's a coffee shop as well, very cute environment. We took the pizza home and my son in which is a big critic loved his pepperoni pizza, and my boyfriend and I made our own which was perfect as well. We will be back! Just a heads up no soft drinks available but the pizza is great!

To start off, I'm a usual large chain pizza customer, I stumbled on Pizza Jones as I was on an errand. I decided to give it a try because of the reviews on yelp. As I walked in I was greeted by the owner Eric, who helped me pick out a specialty pizza that complements my pallet. As I waited @ the tables, an employee came over and set down disposable plates, Parmesan, Crushed Red Peppers, and a pie server. The Garbage Can (Hand Tosses) was ready in 15 minutes; I must say it was speedy fast for the amount of toppings the pizza includes. The garbage can was amazing, a fully loaded pizza was juicy, crunchy, and delicious. The quality of the pizza was beyond amazing. The crunchy, light, flaky crust was sooooo satisfying. The quality is totally worth the price; made with fresh ingredients. This place is a pizza's enthusiasts' paradise, the pizzas should totally be considered ARTISAN. This place is now my go to place when I'm lazy to cook.

Just moved To La From Florida 3 months Ago and have been looking for some good Pizza since I got here. And couldn't really find any, Finally decided to try Pizza Jones because of all the good Reviews and when me and my sister finally tried that 12inch hand tossed we were simply amazed. Best pizza ever hands down and right next to our house. Eric Takes Lots of pride and only uses the best of the best ingredients and is the one of the nicest guys you'll meet !
