maybe it was a mistake to sit outside but not having been to pizzeria mozza in several years I was excited for the pizza but not the usual crowd and we needed to eat early to get to an evening engagement. The evening started off on the wrong foot We arrived just prior to opening along with about a dozen other early birds. But when the hostess opened the door a party just arriving pushed in behind us oblivious to the casual line. I mentioned to the greeter who acknowledged but then proceeded to seat them at the same time as seating us. There was only one wait staff outside and he decided to wait on the other party first. They had their wine before we even got water. Maybe it was because we were two older women but the waiter either ignored us or was foolishly patronizing. He was completely ignorant about wine but proceeded to tell me that the two Nebiolos on offer were the same since they were from the same grape. Need I say more? Food arrived in a fairly haphazard manner. We had a starter salad and pizza. The pizza is still great. Would have been better if it got to the table hot not warm. I may go back but would only sit inside under the watchful eye of front of house. You come for the food. You come back for the service. Hmmm

Without question, the worst margarita pizza I've ever had for over $24. 3 tablespoons of sauce and 4 tiny drops of mozzarella on a lousy crust. Then I was entertained by the bartender talking down to us about their low quality wines by il quartino. This was once one of my favorite spots. Judging by the empty tables, LA agrees. The city is no longer in the top 10 for restaurants.

Last night was perfect. Going to Pizzeria Mozza has become something of a family tradition after the Academy Awards. It has always been good but last night was exceptionally so. Everyone was in great spirits. We felt welcome. Our servers made excellent recommendations that all sounded great and tasted even better. Chicken Liver Bruschetta, not an ordinary go to, was delicious. Calamari Fritti was crisp to perfection. Nancy's Chopped Salad was ideal for 4 of us to slip. A beautiful place of Shrimp, baby eggplant with Zatar, hummus and Shug was warm and delightful. Pizza with mixed museums and a whole sauce and a red sauces birrata were perfect flavors for the exceptionally fine crust. Oscar night is special and so is Pizzeria Mozza. The room has also been redecorated since the last time I was in. It looks pretty and feels more spacious even within the same footprint.

Unfortunately did not love. The pizza dough tasted low quality and dried out, like it was old, and it felt like it was made by an inexperienced chef. The salad with the anchovy vinaigrette was inedible :/ we sat at the bar and our bartender was very nice and accommodating. Kinda seems like it’s another place that thrives off the people that want to be seen, so the food quality falls by the wayside.

Curious about the concept of ordering in full and being served in dribs and drabs Even when sharing plates it makes for an awkward meal for those not sharing and having to wait for their meal Regardless, still the best pizza on the planet!

Our table was soaked in rain while we're still ordering in the patio and requested to move to a different table. Request was acknowledged and then forgotten about. Food was Veryyyy average. Not the usual standards we expect. We were unpleasantly surprised!!

I've eaten here many times and sadly the last two were just okay. Squash blossom starters were so-so and a bit greasy. The calamari was too small and devoid of many pieces of calamari. It was mostly small crunchy pieces of coating. The pizzas weren't really hot and we waited quite a while between apps and the entrees. Mozza has always been a fave but I feel like they need to reinvigorate.

Best pizza in Los Angeles! We are from the east coast moved here pre-covid couldn't find pizza, pasta and bread that compares to East Coast. We tried many places for pizza this place is truly the best Pizza in California!!!! Love Nancy Silverton and watched her for many years on TV! Her restaurant was AMAZING to service and the food! This is now my family's favorite place for dinner!!!

Food and service outstanding! Even Bartender was superb as I arrived early at sat at bar for a bit. Only small complaint is the music being really loud. Could probably turn it down a notch but not bad enough to take a star away as the food and service was absolutely outstanding!

This is a very good pizzeria. The base was good, if a little grainy, the toppings were fresh & tasty. I prefer a pomodoro of san marzano tomatoes, perhaps they are harder to get in the US.The setting is rustic, but I’m afraid I found the seating uncomfortable.Wine is incredibly expensive in the US, so be ready to pay $100 for a wine you’d pay £15-£20 for at home.

I’ve been here 3 times since I moved here last year. Absolutely the best pizza in LA. The pizza Bianca is the perfect pie. We always start with the Pane Bianca and Meatballs and Nancy’s chopped salad. The deserts are incredible as well. The Caramel coppetta and apple crisp are fantastic for the whole table.

Still one of my favorites... pizza, salads and everything else!!!Fun to sit at the counter where they make the pizza... they have always been able to stay consistent with their quality of food, service and presentation...My favorite appetizer is the squash flower, chopped salad and any of the pizzas... great wine too.

Over hyped, poor customer service, waitstaff is a bunch of failed b rated stars that should've gone back to Wisconsin or whatever state they came from .management has no business etiquette.
