Not great food and expensive, however options are limited for breakfast.

Yes it's pricey, but it's at the airport
Some excellent beer, a turkey melt with fries was just what I needed. The server was wonderful.

The server walked up and wasn’t very kind. He never came back and checked on us after dropping off the food. My water sat empty for 10 minutes before I went to the bar and asked for more. The bar said they weren’t allowed to do that, which they don’t make the rules it’s ok. But then the bar told him we needed water and he came and filled it up and I asked “is it normal for you not to check on your table after you drop off food?” He said “ I was busy doing other stuff”. My mom had worked in the food industry her whole life so I understand it isn’t easy, but you check on your tables and make sure they are ok no matter how busy it is! I will never eat here again! We are 20% or more for tipping but with this service no tip is deserved! Very disappointed we spent almost $50 on a single meal, appetizer and 1 beer and got this bad of service! I get airports are expensive and I expected to pay that amount but I did not expect such terrible service!

It’s cafeteria food in a space painted over to look like they make your food for you. Pre-made eggs, cold potato’s, save your money.

Floor is dirty and employees want you to put your bags in other people’s dropped food to clear the walkways. Might as well be cafeteria tables too they are so close together

I don’t usually write reviews, but I’m disappointed and embarrassed. Bartender (Michael) singled me out as someone was ordering me a drink, claiming that I’d had “too much to drink” after 2 aperol spritz. It would have been fine if he calmly discussed with me that he couldn’t serve me (bc of drink limits) instead he made this experience completely horrible. He announced to the bar how much I had had and made a scene. Made me cry as I was trying to explain to him that I thought his actions were inappropriate.

A 20 ounce pour for 12 bucks at LAX? I like their IPAs, but nothing on draft is worth that.

Update 5 years later: Beers are still expensive, but haven't gone up in price. GFF and I decided to try the food... Falafel plate absolutely awful. 4 tiny, deep-fried falafel pucks with hard and/or stale Pita chips (not bread) and a mini serving of hummus.. Giant pretzel greasy and salty with something worse than melted Velveeta cheese. Feh.

If your a restaurant offering takeout then make sure the person gets their food in a timely manner. I watched my food come to the counter, stood there for 10 minutes, finally flagged the bartender down and he told me he would call when ready. Finally after 2 more minutes I asked the waitress to get it for me. Nothing better than a cold hamburger and fries just because I wasn’t sitting inside the restaurant. Please tell your staff to listen better to on the go orders!!

Ordered the burger with a side salad. The salad was simply lettuce, croutons and cheese....the burger was very bland, service was very slow waited approx 25 min just to get a waitress to come by to take the order. Very expensive for what you get. Won't be back. Much better options in LAX.

An airport restaurant means it's going to be overpriced but as long as it tastes reasonably good and the service is friendly I can tolerate the elevated prices.

Luckily, Point the Way Cafe delivered on both points; a surprisingly tasty breakfast burrito and an okay cup of coffee and service that was polite and friendly without being overbearing.

Service must be hit or miss here, as I see lots of bad reviews. We had lunch sandwiches (caprese, turkey melt, etc.) and all were very good especially for the price. Our party had no issue with service. Side fries that come with each sandwich were better than what you'd expect at an airport also.

They are using plastic silverware, not good for the environment. San Francisco Airport has bamboo utensils and compost friendly bags and boxes. Please switch to environmentally friendly options!!! You're by the beach, please save our oceans.

Doing extremely loud construction but sitting a full restaurant. Maybe close next time if the drilling is that loud. For 20$ USD for an egg flatbread you should supply real cutlery not plastic.
Get Starbucks if you’re in this terminal.
