cool place with a great traditional menu. We really love the noodles with beef
this place is so awful, i almost have no words. ordered popcorn chicken (the place is literally called that) and it was almost inedible. also -- no sriracha mayo/sriracha aoili? am i in a restaurant or hell? the only available sauces were packets of the ones i have in the kitchen back in rural pennsylvania. for the love of god, do not eat here.
Get this. Our party of 2 families, 3 Adults and 3 kids (two checks) decided to sit together after the kid’s judo class. Each family paid $45 and included a 15% tip. Well, 1/2 way through our meal the poor kid told us that because we were larger than a party of 5, they needed to add a 15% Service charge to a bill that we already paid at the kiosk. It was hard to process how stupid that was. Anyways, we asked, “we tipped you guys 15%, isn’t that the same?” Long story short, we got our tip back and ended up paying $0.50 less, because the House wanted the Service charge, jacking their employee’s tips. Seriously despicable; literally nickel and diming the patrons and their employees. Apparently $6.75 is worth more losing customers and the moral of your employees.
Please invest in picture menu. I ordered something that turned out to be not what I wanted and was dissatisfied and disappointed. Money wasted didn't eat the food. Sorry. ( picture menus save life's)
Taiwanese beef noodles didn’t taste like other Taiwanese beef noodles I’ve had. Popcorn chicken decent with the basil. Minced pork with Wakame was odd.
Great service and good hotpot.
I’ve been here twice, once for hot pot and once for lunch, neither was very good. The braised pork rice, and the bento version of this meal, were just really oily and greasy. What bothered me a lot was how dirty the restaurant was, lots of food crumbs everywhere, on the table and on the floor. The whole restaurant was empty so it wasn’t like the place is so busy that staff don’t have time to clean up. I got myself some water (yep, self-served), and there was a piece of dark stuff in my water. I don’t think I will return to this place again, they need to fix their sanitary problem.
Ordered off UberEats, everything is packaged nicely and the popcorn chicken combo even comes with hot and sour soup (whatever the soup of the day is). Good for the popcorn chicken.
The staff there was very friendly, she came and asked us about the food and checked on us. Also we asked her some questions, and she was just so friendly to answer our questions and recommended some others food as well. We will go more often because it was so delicious and not expensive.
I actually enjoyed my experience here! The food were delicious. Their egg over rice dishes are apparently the more popular ones, and for a good reason! ?? The servers were pretty cool as well, so cheers to that! ?Anyhow, just to put it out there, they actually merged with flaming pot, or did they buy that restaurant? Who knows ?Downside? Well, their self-service ordering kiosk has room for improvement, their menu had no pictures of their food which made it hard to decide what to get especially when you are unfamiliar with Chinese food (this was the reason why I deducted one star from my rating). Still we're glad we ordered the right thing. ☺️

The popcorn chicken from a place literally called Popcorn Chicken was quite good - my Taiwanese friend was convinced it was authentic. I had a great time. Medium spice was fairly spicy and the breading was crispy.
Plz. Try some better places. All noodle soups are the same flavor. Popcorn chickens are covered with a way too thick batter. BYE.
Waited 32 minutes for popcorn chicken. No explanation. Also said they would take it out when it was ready given the wait. Had to go inside and ask yet another time and there it was sitting for who knows how long. What a joke.
For Taiwanese popcorn chicken they're pretty solid. They have cartilage and some more exotic ones too.For the rest of the menu I'm not as impressed, but for a place that literally is called Popcorn Chicken...
Like everyone else says, their popcorn chicken is tasty and reasonably priced. Five stars for the popcorn chicken. However, I had the Lemongrass Thai pot and it was so lemony that I couldn't eat it. Also, my husband ordered the House Fried Rice, and the rice was mushy and he found not one, but two chicken bones in his food. We won't be returning for dinner. Service was good.
