Enjoyed a friend’s birthday brunch at Poppy + Rose! Accommodated a group of 9 (we called ahead). The staff was super friendly & gave us great suggestions. Everyone had something different and everyone loved the food!
Would recommend for a Saturday/Sunday brunch with a city stroll to follow (you WILL be full!)

The building is super cute and the food is phenomenal! We loved the atmosphere too, it's busy but also chill. Great place in downtown! We parked around the corner in a public lot for 5 bucks, only had to walk about a half block.

This was one of the best places for brunch. I went Saturday early afternoon and it was super busy. I was glad I had a reservation, because I only had to wait a few minutes. The food was amazing and our server was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be coming back and telling all of my friends about this great spot in the flower district DTLA. Wonderful
Located in the Flower District... very friendly, clean , great food... wonderful service

I was very disappointed in this restaurant after all the hype from my friend. The food arrived cold. In addition, the grits were cold and the biscuits were hard as a hockey put. I was not impressed. The servers were nice but that was it. The food which is what I really paid for was of poor quality.

Chicken & waffle sandwich was really good, as was the biscuit. I also had the steak and eggs which were ok. Staff was attentive and quick to respond to requests. Overall, an enjoyable brunch experience.
I went for brunch on my birthday !! Our server was amazing !! Funny and welcoming !! Good was awesome! Hot, fresh and delicious ! 10 out of 10 would definitely recommend
We had a very nice breakfast with family, we he food was great and the service was exceptional. The dishes offered are delicious and the ingredients are top quality
First time trying this, Fried chicken was delicious as well as the waffles, The squared hashbrown was good, just a little lack of flavor. Overall, I'll be back next week!

Great place for chicken and waffles! The waffles were light and fluffy, and the chicken was crispy and juicy. The burger was enough for two! The brioche was nice and crispy, the burger also came with a side of coleslaw and salad. The pulled pork hash had this really cool hashbrown that was shaped like a cube. It was cool though, because the outside was crispy but the inside was soft and fluffy. They were friendly and welcoming, but the place was busy. Overall, would come back to this place!

Everything was very tasty my boyfriend said the pulled pork hash was “stunning” and “worth the drive” coming from Camarillo. I agree!
Fantastic restaurant. Went there with a group of six. We had to wait a bit for our table, even though we had a reservation and the folks were very friendly and kept us informed - there for brunch. Had the biscuits and gravy fantastic . service is a bit slow because they seem to be short staffed but the wait is worth it and I wouldn’t view that as negative.
