The food is good we went for dinner last night and the place is decent clean.They have a good menu on the back .For appetizers we ordered a side of mojito Just experienced the best most authentic, delicious food of my life.highly recommended this place.

Porridge and Puff is back. Just had the poultry and mushroom porridge with puffs; excellent as i remembered from the past. Mochi is fantastic as well. Really glad to see this operation returning and will head back soon for more in the future.

I'm a huge fan of porridge / congee. Growing up in an Asian household meant porridge for breakfast. And this places takes that to an elevated level. Their menu is always changing but the items I've seen consistently include the sausage porridge, poultry mushroom porridge, and the Asian slaw. I recommend the poultry and mushroom - but if you like more bland porridge's then go for the sausage. Their sides are worth trying - trust me! The balance of flavors - acidic, sweet, savory, bitterness - makes every dish a celebration of porridge. The "puff" is like a Chinese donut. Try it!

We absolutely love the food here. Our introduction to this cuisine was on New Year's Day. They delivered an incredible meal to our house. It was an extraordinary meal made so memorable by the the thoughtful and beautiful details. Today, we went to the restaurant and our suspicions were confirmed; Chef Mihn Phan is the greatest human alive. She is an amazing chef and a wonderful person and it was a treat to just be in her presence. I wish everyone could exude such positivity and excitement while creating something truly wonderful to share with the world. We're fans for life

A place like no other. Think the porridge your Asian mom made you on cold days or when you were sick, but your mom is a hipster. :) GOOD + Porridges, obv. Warm, perfect balance of salt and other flavors. + Puffs texture was so good, breakable but soft and perfect for the porridge. + Slaw - we wanted some veggies with our porridge/puffs, and the slaw was actually a standout dish. + Brown butter mochi - not too sweet at all, and lasted well for takeout! + Shrub - I bought their hibiscus shrub and have been making amazing cocktails with it for weeks. MEH + Dessert puffs - got the jasmine sauce, which was very foral, but overall hard to say there was a huge difference between a regular puff and the dessert puff. I can't wait for this place to open up again someday!! Love love love.
Amazing place with a very unique take on classic asian style porridge. All of their dishes are well thought out and have great ranges of flavor. The decor is very open and modern. Met the chef?owner? And she was extremely kind and took the time to explain what she likes about each of her dishes.Truly a great dining experience and one I would recommend to anybody.

Amazing food and customer service that LITERALLY goes the extra mile. I stop by porridge + puffs basically every time I am in LA for their amazing food and to restock on their Apricot Hot Sauce. I also reached out to them to ask if I could order some bottles of Apricot Hot Sauce but I was told the store was temporarily closed, however, they were still willing to make me a special order. They made me 5 bottles and let me pick them up even though they were closed. Phenomenal customer service. Will definitely be back and get more hot sauce. Also, their porridge is delicious and the fried mochi, amazing.

PINCH $20 cash special on Thursdays!! Was delicious and so happy to hear about it!————So happy this moved into the neighborhood! Was very skeptical when I found on eater that this moved in. Seemed interesting but would it be worth a second visit? It absolutely is. Went for Sunday brunch. Was surprised at how delicious and flavorful everything is! We decided to try a little bit of everything: Vietnamese cold brew, hibiscus shrub, the slaw, cucumbers, Szechuan shakshouka, eggs meurrette, bread pudding, and brown butter mocha. Loved everything we got that we weren't able to stop eating. Good food takes time so order the little salad appetizers if you're starving. Service was super friendly and although the porridge's can take some time, they were definitely worth the wait!
