Prime Pizza

Don't know why this place only has a 4.3, though it is one of the best pizza joints on the west side if you're looking for NY-style pizza. Pepperoni - Pineapple please!

My whole family loves the rectangular, deep dish pizzas here! Perfect to bring home and eat while watching a Lakers game. Hint: get some extra because it reheats really well tomorrow.

Very excellent square pizza. Prime is by far my favorite square pizza in all of Los Angeles. They’re round pies are good too but square pizzas are by far what make them stand out due to the bread

Recommended dishes: Grandma Slice

I love that Prime Pizza sells slices — it’s like speed dating for pizza. Try one, fall in love, move on to the next. I had the spicy pepperoni square slice — juicy, a little heat, very tasty.

Staff were friendly, but it weirdly took about 10 minutes to reheat one slice... and no, the place wasn’t packed. Maybe the oven was on a break?

This location’s in a tiny plaza with limited parking and only about 10 seats inside, so don’t show up with your extended family expecting a pizza party.

Still, the slice was worth it. And now that I know there are other locations, I’ll be making the rounds, one slice at a time.

Pro tip: for the veggie pizza - if you sub Vegan Be Hive cheese it is vegan!! Love the vegan grandma and cheese as well!

Wow amazing pizza.

Stop by and grab a slide late at night - even a vegan option! They even tipped me off that one of the available pies was French not of the oven. Definitely a no-frills place (no bathroom). Easy to park and pop in. Some signage was difficult to read for someone on the shorter side. Service was somewhat slow considering there were multiple people working. Will go back!

I had been hearing about Prime Pizza for a while, one night me and my man were nearby and decided to give it a try and it was AMAZING experience.. that was a very special night and this pizza also did not disappoint! I got a few slices and we had it in the car it was so good I went back in and got more!

The staff make sure you get the pizza hot and fresh outta oven, after I chose what I wanted they put the slice back in oven and give it to you crispy fresh and hot!
The inside and decorations were pretty cool too. Overall a great experience
