This bakery is exceptional. Went on a Saturday late morning and found a small line outside but it moved fast and wasn't a long wait. Unassuming location, you can't assume by the exterior or small interior the quality and flavor. We tried the focaccia, bread, croissants, cookies, caramel cornbread cake, tart and pie, and all were delicious. High quality, well made, not too sweet, unique flavors. Definitely worth a trip.

Do NOT and I repeat Do NOT…. Be discouraged by the line 😏. The service is super fast, staff is friendly and the pastries and sandwiches (after 1130) are amazing! I has to hojicha today and it is perfectly sweetened, the salami sandwich is my favorite. We showed up at 9 before heading to the observatory had croissants and then went back for sammies after 🥰.

Proof bakery is one of the best in Los Angeles. It’s a great place to bring friends, family and people visiting from out of town. I love chocolate croissant and always get one when I can. The staff is very welcoming and friendly.
