I’ve been eager to try this place ever since I first heard about it two years ago, and it did not disappoint. Visiting from Honolulu, dining out in LA is always a highlight for me, and this experience was a standout.
We ordered the gem lettuce salad, a whole pepperoni pizza, and the quince brown butter tart. The gem lettuce salad was vibrant, incredibly fresh, and bursting with flavor. I even remarked to my partner that the lettuce had such a distinctive, complex taste that it had to be straight from the farmers market.
The Detroit style pie was everything you want it to be— steaming hot, cheesy, with perfectly crispy edges. The flavorful sauce had just the right twang to balance it all out. And the quince brown butter tart? It was a sublime finish to the meal. Its rich buttery notes paired beautifully with the quince.
Beyond the food, the service, music, and overall vibe were great—a solid 10/10. I’m already looking forward to coming back the next time I’m in LA!

the host was so kind and accommodating and checked in with us about the wait. we ordered a whole pie of the polish riviera which was vegetarian and amazing. so delicious, i can’t wait to eat the slices i brought home. we also ordered the chocolate pie which was rich and decadent. can’t wait to go back and get the gem salad which looked so good, and try a new pizza and dessert.

Delicious pizza, fresh salad, and you def have to try their cakes 🍰
We tried the polish riviera and it was a unique take on a classic potato on pizza 🍕. It was probably the best white pizza I’ve ever had.

Had to order to go, make sure you reserve online. Arrived here 45 mins after opening on a random Saturday, no games no nothing, the server quoted us 2+ hr wait to get seated.
Food was good. A bit greasy but overall good.

Had the baked ziti special for dinner last night. I think this experience of a limited time non-standard dish really proved the excellence of this restaurant. The ziti was of otherworldly consistency - every bite had the same amount of perfectly melted cheese, the same tasteful presence of hot oil and seasoning, the same texture and temperature. No burned or dry bits. This is, simply, expert execution. And of course the standards: excellent natural wine, a couple of the best pizza slices you'll have, and what has to be the perfect cake, the princess. All while a tasteful selection of whole albums (echo and the bunnymen) played in the background at conversation volume. It really feels like the QS crew can do no wrong.

Detroit style pizza with a really like airy but bitey crust. Be warned the quarter sheets size is large so you can honestly get one to share amongst 4 people. And always save room for dessert, the princess cake parallels my favorite spot in SF. Highly recommend! Takes reservations!

Quarter Sheets truly was worth the hype to me. Detroit style isn't exactly my favorite style of pizza, but I was wow'd by each of the slices I tried (definitely recommend going with at least 1 other person to try as many slices as possible). We started with one of the seasonable appetizers, Wesier Melon salad, which was such a unique and refreshing salad to start things off: slightly pickled Persian cucumbers paired with perfectly ripe Weiser farm melons (IYKYK), some kind of a mild vinegar dressing (what they call piña sauce) and seasoned off with toasted sesame seeds (vaguely reminiscent of za'atar). It was the perfect mix of savory
+ citrus + sweetness from the melon. As for the pizzas we ordered 1 slice of the Red Top, Polish Riviera (the only one not pictured), Sicilian Corner and Tomato Slice (basically everything with the exception of the pepperoni slice). Simply phenomenal. The red top + tomato slice were similar and simple. The tomato sauce really got to shine in both slices and you can really taste the freshness and sweet tanginess of the tomatoes. The crust was perfectly fluffy on the inside and had just the right amount of crisp on the outside. The real stars of the show, however, were both the Polish Riviera and Sicilian Corner. The cured lemon and pistachio pesto from the Polish Riviera were so well executed and contributed to such a unique flavor profile. I've been dreaming about it since. The. Sicilian Corner is just as good as people say it is, and is a can't miss here. It's all about the dough/crust here and the sweet peppers really sealed the deal for me. It has a bit more of a sourdough crust and is then finished off with a coating of sesame seeds, which adds a bit more nuttiness to the dough to compliment the sourdough. No notes, just try it for yourself.
For dessert, you'd be a fool for not trying Hannah Ziskin's slice of Princess Cake. If you've never tried Princess Cake, then you've come to the right place to have it for the first time. If you're a fan of Princess Cake, then I'd be shocked if you didn't agree that this is the textbook definition of what a Princess Cake should taste like. 10/10.
Exceptional food, friendly and amenable service, and a fun, energetic ambiance that will make you want to come back soon.

Stepping into this effortlessly cool pizza joint where the old-school vibe lets the food take center stage. While their pizzas are quite good, they are merely a prelude to the sensational desserts crafted by their wildly talented pastry chef and co-owner. My timing was spot-on, arriving about an hour after opening on a Thursday meant a bar seat after a short wait.
Starting with the seasonal weiser melon salad is a choice I’d make again. The melon was crisp and sweet, accompanied with persian cucumber and sprinkled with coriander and sesame. The piña sauce added a tropical twist.
Then came the pizza lineup. Each slice is distinct in its own right, yet formed a quasi pizza ensemble. The sicilian corner, with its sweet peppers, sausage, pecorino, and chili oil, balanced atop mozzarella with a toasted crust crackling with flavor. The bianca slice was the sleeper hit—the freshness of the sungold tomatoes brought a garden-like quality and paired with a pistachio pesto. The red top was as classic as it gets with mozzarella, red sauce, and a basil flourish, while the pepperoni slice, topped with grana, mozzarella, and sauce, delivered that familiar, beloved comfort with a crispy edge (though a bit more pepperoni wouldn’t hurt).
Now to the star—princess cake. I heard the hype, but as someone who isn’t exactly a “cake person” I was unprepared for how good this was. The olive oil chiffon soft as clouds, the mascarpone chantilly whipped super light, and the raspberry preserves tasted like they’d just come from a berry field. Wrapped in almond marzipan, it had me savoring every last bite, and in no time, my plate was empty. It was quite simply one of the best desserts I’ve had in some time.
It may be known for its pizza, but the desserts set it apart. This gem could easily pull you back just for its sweets, even if you didn’t start as a dessert enthusiast. The pizza is an absolute delight, but the dessert euphoria is the memory you take home and share with others. Add in super friendly service and an unpretentious vibe, and you’ve got a place you’ll want to return to—for dessert, at the very least.
lives allll the way up to the hype — great prices and truly special food. the simplest pies are the most impressive for how well they do with so few ingredients. do NOT skip dessert. I’d skip the bar pie to save room for the other slices, but that’s just me.

Quarters Pizza is delicious! We’ve tried pepperoni, Bianca & the Sicilian and all very good. Definitely a go to spot but be mindful of the wait time. We’ve gone during the week and weekends and the wait time for take out is the same despite the day of the week. Parking is very difficult to find. Go prepared to spend 15+ min looking for parking and 10-20min to order plus another 30+ min to get your actual order. It is a very small restaurant so keep that in mind. All the waiting is done outside. Read their signs to know where to order. Staff is friendly but just overall there is so much wait time! Don’t go hungry!
Lastly, their online ordering system is annoying. You get charged to order through their online system (why?) and you don’t get to order single slices. You only get 3 options for the whole pizzas. If you’re comfortable and able to pay an additional $5+ on your order to pick up then I would suggest you use it given the wait time mentioned above.
Parking: Street parking which is very difficult to find.
