The pastery are something I ate since I was young, and I still would get it from there. My personally favorite from that place is the rasin bread, not everyones pick but is mine.

I wasn't expecting it at all, but I was surprised at how delicious it was. I bought red beans pastry, almond cookies, and rice puffs. All for only $6. There is no unpleasant sweetness at all, just a soft and gentle sweetness that spreads in your mouth, and the cookie has a texture that melts in your mouth rather than being crunchy. The red bean paste is not sweet at all and has a refreshing taste, and the pie crust is crispy. The puffs have a crunchy yet chewy texture, and the gentle sweetness of the coconut is delicious! ! It's really delicious! ! ! ! ! I will definitely come again. I was impressed for the first time in a while. Lately, I've been fed up with all the sugar-filled bakeries, so I'm really grateful to have old-fashioned shops like this. It doesn't seem to contain any preservatives or additives.

My family has been ordering cakes from Queens bakery for decades. Although we’ve all moved out of the L.A area, we’ve taken every opportunity to order our cakes there.

I truly didn’t want to write this review. This bakery is a staple in Chinatown. I grew up eating this bakery’s cakes. Every holiday or birthday celebration this was “the spot” to get our bread, cakes, cupcakes and more. With that being said, on Friday I walked in, placed an order for a TALL WHITE CAKE, no decor just simple WITH FRUIT INSIDE. Without hesitation I was charged $120 I trusted them and in return they SCAMMED ME! When I picked up on Saturday, I picked up an all white cake without being properly finished, not slicked, air bubbles, marks of starting and ending point of the batter, the cake WASN’T TALL, I did ask the older man would you pay $120 for this presentation? he looked down but HE DIDN’T CARE. I mean why would he if the cake was already paid for. Then a Hispanic lady came out trying to insult my intelligence and carried herself rude and unprofessional. Fast forward to the cake cutting, my fruit was missing. For reference I have attached photos. I was better off buying one of their $45 cakes that are inside the glass counter.

I’m very disappointed and I did let them know. It breaks my heart because I won’t be coming back and maybe they’ll read this review and roll their eyes. They broke a relationship not with a new customer but our family has been buying Queen cakes for decades.

Hope my review helps.
