Ok the thing I don’t like about this place the drinks aren’t real authentic drinks they are from the powder that you pour into drinks that’s one thing I dislike so very disappointed with that matter since I like to eat / drink authentic things.. I think they should lower their prices down just because they are in a “Culver City “ neighborhood. There’s so many different Oaxaca restaurants that don’t overprice like this place .y’all should go try this one restaurant called Guelaguetza Restaurant very good Oaxaca food …

The service was incredibly friendly and I really wanted to like this place because they are very nice! The atmosphere is pleasant, though the door was open and we were very cold during our meal. Things started out good with the chips and salsa. Unfortunately, the food after that was underwhelming. We were more than a bit disappointed with our dishes…possibly we ordered the wrong thing? Horchata tasted watered down to me. Would maybe give it another try because of how many excellent reviews there are but it was a bit of a let down.

The food wasn't quite to my taste. After ordering, the waiter left us outside and ignored us. It was a bad experience.

Love this place!
The staff is warm and friendly, and the food is delicious. I got the cheese enchiladas with red sauce and the red sauce was so refreshing. My friend got the chicken empanada and also loved it! Highly recommend checking this spot out if you can find a good parking spot :)

I’ll give them a 5 because it looked delicious and the vibe was cool. They didn’t allow us to dine because we had our ten pound pup with us. My bad. Will try to make it back soon. Ended up going to Cafe Brasil which is always a good and is pet friendly.

By far out of two other restaurants that I have tried tlayuda, this spot is 1! Vegetarian tlayuda, the mushrooms, the beans and Oaxaca Cheese.. are super yummy .. flavorful and presented nicely. The vegetarian mole was best had between the other spots we have tried, as well! Drink, food, service, and ambience was all around a nice experience. Thanks!
Vegetarian options: Ask and they will answer your questions !!
Kid-friendliness: There are plenty of kids dishes or adult dishes that kids could eat!

Really great , friendly service, unbelievably good cocktails, and excellent food. I got the black mole which was very chocolatey. We also got the fried quesadillas with a guajillo sauce which were unbelievably good. I can't recommend this place enough, especially for drinks. The margaritas were amazing and the "la independencia" was delicious. Loved this place will definitely be going back.

The food was excellent, the chef and wait staff was friendly and there is a lovely outdoor patio through the back.
But let me get back to the food: It's authentic and there's so much attention to detail. I highly recommend this place.
