Drinks were on point! We sang karaoke and the Dj was awesome. She was getting the crowds singing with her too. We just got drinks and no food.

Great place to just go for a drink and hang out with friends or coworkers. Fun karaoke nights. I didn’t give it full stairs due to no crowd control. If you are going to be a messy drunk don’t go here. A female patron was just off and she acted like every guy at the bar was into her or trying to get with her??♀️. Came with a bunch of friends and no one told her to just enjoy the show and act less arrogant towards the guys there when performing. I just looks bad when a girl is worse than guys.

No Metro stops nearby, no bike parking, and tough to find car storage. Bar food is passable. Atmosphere is pretty great, though.

This place has great vibes, a fantastic kitchen, karaoke, and the best crew of bartenders in town. I’ve been coming here for a couple years now and it’s my favorite bar in LA. God bless R Bar.

I really love this bar and will always come back but the food is horrid and staff is kinda off and they let this baby in the bar. The atmosphere is vampire meets boat imo. Low lighting and amazing wood design everywhere. Doesn’t get crowded until karaoke time.I saw another review saying they were denied access to the bar and to even order food but I went legit last week and they allowed a BABY in the bar. Biggest turn off to a bar. If you are gonna be denie access to an actually adult that just forgot their id but allow this yt family to come in with their kids is a lil wild.I’ve ordered all the vegetarian friendly food and the ONLY thing worth the money is the fries and cheese fries. The Mac and cheese sounds yummy but it’s legit one of the worse I’ve ever had. More like a bad cheese pasta. Wayyyy too much crumble. The veggie flat bread is legit a scam. The happy hour and ‘normal price’ is the exact same ? it’s oily yet untoasted. It’s peta bread with a thousand island dressing smothered on top of burnt veggies.Had hope for the mozzarella sticks but there HUGE and UNSEASONED. Wasn’t tasty at all just bland cheese that wasn’t melty.I would come here JUST for the beer and you’re good.
Vegetarian options: Just get the fries. There’s a few options but they all taste bad hahha
Dietary restrictions: Everything has either cheese or meat. Not good for vegan or GF diets. There’s liek only fries u can have
Parking: Like any other k town spot best to get dropped off or walk from your place
Kid-friendliness: Kids should not be coming to a bar. Keep them at home.
Wheelchair accessibility: It’s a lil cramp tbvh but you are able to have easy access the booths in the main area next to the bar. There is no lower area to the bar so they will need to bring you a menu and serve you at your table. Women’s restroom is a tight squeeze.

Cute business but unfortunately rude staff. I went to go order some food after a long day. This was also around 8PM so I thought they would at least take food orders. Nigel, the bartender, checked for ID but unfortunately I left it at home. I had a picture of my ID I was willing to show, but he said he would not accept it. I have used a picture before to get in bars but just order food. Instead of hearing me out, he immediately refused service and even said "I look 22 tops" which was extremely unnecessary and uncalled for. What type of place doesn't allow their customers to eat? And then leaves backhanded rude comments to them? I understand that I didn't have my ID but instead of just helping a customer Nigel treated me with such condescending rudeness and unempathy. Sad because I was excited to try karaoke at the bar. Treat your staff better R Bar
Went there to casually celebrate a friend's bday and when I tried to order drinks the bartender with tattoos and glasses took condescending tone with me and then tried to say she was just joking when I didn't take too kindly to it. She also spent a good amount of time bragging out loud about having made out with someone after work the night before (video/picture included oddly enough) while she was working behind the counter. Just an odd establishment tbh
