The server was nice but the service was really slow. It took about 40 minutes for our ramen orders to come out. We had to ask for our waters multiple times. We saw other people getting seated after us and getting their orders in a timely manner, so I’m unsure what happened. Overall we were disappointed with our experience.

I was in Osaka (Japan) and tried takoyaki there...and I want to say that the takoyaki in this restaurant is top notch!!! Maybe even tastier than they were in Japan back then 🥰
I really liked the beautiful presentation and, of course, the incredible taste! 🐙
Plus, while I was waiting for my dish, I saw a huge portion of ramen at the next table 🍜 I immediately wanted to try it, so I will definitely come back again!
I would also like to note that it’s cozy inside + it smells delicious. The staff is very nice and friendly ✨

This place is great if you want a lighter broth ramen. There's outdoor and indoor seating with a wait-list for you to sign up for. I got the Garnet miso ramen. I've had the shio and shit before and loved it. The broth is very flavorful and the cha siu is great and the noodles were soft and chewy.
The staff was very friendly and attentive. They made sure to come by to make sure we were doing ok and also attended to our needs in a timely manner. The place was very lively and popular.
There can be a wait for this place and I've often gone to the Torrance location and it is of the same quality and service. The exception is that this place is open fairly late.

The food , as a vegetarian person, was awesome! Best ramen I have ever had in the US. The broth and appetizer was exquisite!! 100% recommend!!!
Everything was amazing- the chicken katsu and ramen. But I work in hospitality. It’s extremely rude to silently drop someone’s check when then didn’t ask for it. I wasn’t there more than 20/25 mins and the busser/food runner just came over and dropped the check while I was still eating. Then when the card was run, just dropped it off without saying a word. I get it was busy at 11pm. But this is not cool and why I wouldn’t return.

My family loves this place. When my daughters fly home from Texas, this is the first place we go to. Two weeks ago we came. what! They changed the noddles. It broke our hearts. The broth is still good, but the noddles made it GREAT. That's what separated Rakkan from all the other ramen shop. That's the only reason I can't give it 5 stars. It was 6 starts before. We also noticed it's not as bussy as before. I guess maybe we are not the only ones who noticed the change. Hopefully they bring back the original noodles.

It sucks that I have to give this place at least one star because our experience deserves 0 stars. Came here on a Saturday night.. it was busy and waited a while to be seated. We didn't mind waiting. We sat down, and it took a while for a server to come take our order. We ordered food and drinks.. the drinks were served to us pretty quickly. There was a couple seated next to us, after we had been seated and their order was taken immediately and got their food quickly. However, we didn't get served our food. The couple next to us was pretty much finished eating, and plates of food were being served to other tables. No one came over to check on us when we had been sitting there for quite a while with only drinks. At that point, it was quite obvious that they were not going to serve us, and we walked out. Horrible customer service.. I didn't mind waiting for a table.. but was incredibly disappointed that we waited so long and didn't even eat and didn't appreciate how much of my time was wasted sitting there. They probably don't care... but we will never go there again. It sucks that this is the experience we had. There are so many great reviews of this place, and the food looked so good.
