First, this place is CASH ONLY, and is buried in the basement of jewelry building with no signs... there is a menu on wall, and you just order at counter ,and there are some old dirty booths. A real hole. I've eaten here twice, as there are not many Thai places DTLA. However, the food seemed pretty good. I got Rad Na with pork, noodles and gai lan (Chinese broccoli) were correct stuff and it was well made. Limited menu with no appetizers really. But I will eat there again, nice basement hole in the wall place.

Great Thai food in DTLA. We can this place Thai Basement because it is literally in the basement of a jewelry district building.The food here is good, prolly one of the better in downtown.... But if you want to drive for Thai food, go-to Sanaamluang in Thai Town.

I got a wonton soup for my mom she was feeling under the weather or local Thai restaurant was closed so I decided to try this one out she finished all the food and for her to actual finish of a soup it's a miracles so I got to say thank you. Now it's my turn to try my new spot . You must try this spot!!! And the price is right.

I called at 10 to place a order because yelp say 10 to 3:30. But I was told very rudely that they open at 10:30, so don't call until 10:30 or you also will be yelled at. His exact words were, (this is on the phone. No Hello, or May I help you. From the point of picking up the phone, I didn't even get to say hello yet), " We are closed now! we open at 10:30! Call Back at 10:30! ".

Wonderful surprise to try somewhere new and it turns out to be so good. Everything about the place was nice including the service and decor. Best thing was we walked out more than satisfied with our meal and it was for less than I expected. Worth going back to!

Working in the same building, I like their Shrimp Fries Rice with Veggies & sometimes their Shrimp Soup with Noddles. The owner & his wife so friendly, smiley faces, so clean. Prices very reasonable. Forgot to tell you about their chocolate candies & cappuccino very tasteful. This review should be written 5 years ago. Some people eat & forgot Mediterranean people to like Tai cuisine that means that they are doing great. I just left the restaurant to go back to my work.
