YUCK! We tried The Soul with chicken, an order of california rolls and an order of Gyoza. I have never in my entire life had Ramen made of spaghetti noodles but today I did and man was it awful. Never again! They tasted like they went to the dollar tree and bought a box of old spaghetti and threw it in the pot. The chicken smelled very bad and the gyoza was way over fried and brown. The california rolls were forgettable at best. I really feel this place has gone downhill and will never be coming back again. I would not recommend it to anyone and go somewhere else, anywhere. We didn't even want any of our food to go. Our server didn't check up on us once but took the time to visit his friend the cook taking a break outside and some other friends vaping on the other side of us.
I've had better instant ramen
This is my google post: Good food, BAD service. Since I arrived the Chicano waiter/ manager rolled his eyes at me when I asked for a table for 6. He instructed another employee to have me wait outside until my party arrived, not a problem. His constant eye-rolling is what really bothered me; even when they forgot our drinks and got my to-go order wrong. He never came to our table to make sure our food was okay. We didn’t want his service anymore.
I would not go back. The food is not worth the attitude service. The last thing you need is someone rolling their eyes at you when all you want is to enjoy a meal with your family on a Friday afternoon.
Went there for my bday party dinner! Great ramen, great price and great taste. Me and my friends were all very satisfied after the meal.
P.S. Spicy is REALLY spicy so just get mild instead 😝
Had a party of six, charged an auto gratuity, then server claimed ignorance about extra service charge options that appeared on the payment device. Didn't appreciate that. The ramen is still good,
This Raman is hands down one of the best!I always get The blaze spicy tonkotsu with extra pork belly, corn, and extra garlic medium 🔥🔥🔥 wish I had a photo for you but it was to yummy I couldn't even wait to take a photo lol worth it to very reasonably priced the place is not fancy. Good service good food.
Excellent food and great customer service!
Do you know how bad you got to be to get one star…
Food was so bad that I thought it was a ghost kitchen on grubhub!
Sushi crap, ramen, crap, rice bowl (CAME AS QUINOA BOWL) crap, gyoza never came but I assume it’s also crap.
This place blows and I’m beyond disappointed.
Do yourself a favor and don’t eat here.

Great food, great prices
Trust me when I tell you this was REALLY good, the classic Tonkotsu is always my go to and theirs is just SO good, I loved it and their broccolini was a solid plus 🤩 I only wish they would add a little more meat (pork option bc the chicken one was just perfect 👌)

Come for the pretty good ramen, not for the non-existent service (though the staff is quite friendly on the rare occasions you happen to see them).

After visiting Universal Studios, we went to see our friend in LA and we had lunch here before we travel to OC. This little restaurant is quite nice, hiding on a busy street, there's only parking on the streets or a paid public parking in the back which was a little difficult to use credit card to pay but after many tries and we did it.
It was a hot day and the AC in this restaurant was good enough for us to have a nice lunch.
The service was extremely attentive and pleasant. There are quite a few Japanese dishes that we could enjoy. Especially Ramen of all types. It's a little salty for my taste but quite delicious.
I had the spicy tuna rice bowl which is quite filling and tasty with salad. I finished the whole thing.
We ordered some appetizers which came out quite amazing. Spicy tuna on crispy rice cake.
Our friend ordered her favorite spicy tuna rolls which she finished all.
My kids had the tonkatsu chicken and potbelly bowls that they really enjoyed all LOL.
The desert was so good that we ordered 2.
The prices are so inexpensive here, the food is great and the service is excellent. We will come here next time again when we're in Highland Park.

My daughter and I got the lunch special with edemame, a bowl, a ramen and added the sesame mochi with red bean and oh was it good. We've never had the red bean before and that was new but oh the ramen was soooo good. And the rice bowl was so bomb. Waiter was so nice. Gave us water in plastic cups to take on the go because it is really hot. A/c was blasting too. Definitely planning to bring my sister, niece and nephew here next time.
