Rao's Sunday Gravy is The Best!! We had such a lovely evening there with some friends. Everything was absolutely wonderful. And our server, Kevin, could not have been better. Attentive, kind, sweet—he was perfect. Thank You Kevin!! And Thank you Rao's for a yummy and fun Sunday evening.
Felt rushed for no reason and salmon was not good at all. Seared the. Plunged into a tasteless pea puree. Asked waiter to make sure well done. It wasn't. Paid for it but didn't eat it. Probably be a while if i go back.
As always, Rao's was absolutely perfect. Amazing food and great service. One of my favorite places in Los Angeles!
This was my first visit to Rao's. We arrived early and still were seated. That was a plus. We shared the stuffed mushrooms appetizer. That was tasty. And our dinner was delicious. We even had dessert to top it off. Great experience. We will come again.
Classic Italian old school joint with incredible service. Unreal meatball. Excellent chicken parm.

Food and drinks were great. Only complaint was that we had reservations and they sat us up front in a booth where it was very loud and lacked class due to the bar-goers watching a hockey game. After expressing my concerns, the host was able to switch us to seating on the back patio where it was much nicer.

Had the most wonderful time, the staff was incredible & so was the food and ambience! It's decorated so cute for Christmas! Felt like i was in NY. Can't wait to bring my family back!
Our food was excellent, and the service was equally wonderful. Our server, in particular, was delightful and treated us with great care. This is by far the best service we have had at this restaurant.
First time there but won't be the last. This place has a feel that can't be explained, must be experienced.
Wonderful in every way. The best martini in LA. Shaken and chilled to perfection. Speaking of perfect, everything from the bread basket to dessert is just the best. The service is classic-impeccable, as is the ambiance. I'm so grateful this hallowed treasure is here in the City of Angels.

Natalia nice
We were excited to get a reservation at Rao's. The restaurant has a welcoming ambience. We were welcomed warmly and taken to our table immediately. The service could not be better, extremely attentive and helped us make up our mind on various choices of the menu. We had two wonderful appetizers mozzarella with tomato and basil with a beautiful balsamic drizzle, and muscles in white wine sauce with leeks that were exceptional. The main courses were two chicken parms with pasta on the side, one tagliatelle with short ribs and sauce, and the special for the evening mixed seafood in a light red sauce over pasta. Everything was delicious the stars were the tagliatelle and the seafood. The chicken parm was thick and delicious but lacked the crispiness that we prefer. That's a personal preference, as the chicken parmesan was still delicious. Dessert was cheesecake and tiramisu both outstanding. If you have the opportunity to visit Raos in Hollywood do so.
Best Italian food we have had in a long time! The NY style italian eatery had a great atmosphere, Johnny Roastbeef greeted us and was warm & funny in a NY way. Service was excellent. Will definitely return.
What a great place to go for Italian. We had their Veal Parm, Rigatoni, and meatball. 11/10. Must try this place.
