Thai sea salt cream was good
The strawberry matcha with oat milk is really good but 9.00 for a drink is too expensive.

Great bubble tea ?. I took peach mandarin with bubbles (of course) and 25% sugar. It was perfect and refreshing.
Conveniently located at Westfield Mall in Santa Monica, Los Angeles.
Fast and efficient service and I finished everything!

Strawberry jasmine is pretty good
I stumbled upon redstraw during my visit at Century City mall last Sunday afternoon (7/28). The ambiance is very bougie because of the drink prices and white color scheme. Their drink selections sounded promising but their milk teas and strawberry matcha latte without dairy alternatives is a dealbreaker. It's 2024, and many other boba shops and cafes are offering dairy alternatives (soy or almond milk) on their lattes and milk teas. I wanted to try Redstraw's Strawberry Matcha latte but it is only offered in Whole Milk. Please be considerate of any customers who are lactose intolerant and add dairy alternatives to your milk teas and matchas.
For the time being, I ordered redstraw's Japanese Sakura Cherry with honey boba. I noticed that the staff seeps their teas naturally for each order. The staff on duty told me it would take at least 5-7 minutes before the order was ready. I waited for less than 5 minutes and it was ready. In terms of presentation, the drink lacked any distinction of sakura cherries on the drink itself. While the green tea tasted naturally, unfortunately I was not fond of the cherry flavor.
My Sakura Cherry drink tasted like cough syrup and I do not taste any authentic sakura flavor. I'm sorry Redstraw, this is the last straw of me trying your boba place. What a disaster and disappointment. Everyone else is better off trying Wushiland or another authentic boba place in Sawtelle or Westwood.

Poor customer service. Boba was OK
One of my fav boba spots in West LA. Boba always fresh and balanced. Love all their fruit flavored teas. Always consistent!

They use expired cow milk my daughter felt sick after few sips of their boba tea. And there is attitude at the counter when you wait for the tea . They made the order for people that ordered after us way before they got to our order , making my little girl wait forever and then handing her a drink that was gone bad . Tasted like expired milk. We not going there again. There is attitude and unkindness also served. This was Sunday 5 pm.

Really solid boba tea shop, esp good for their quirky teas, price is fair, fruit teas are delicious (mango mojito, strawberry jasmine, grapefruit smash, peach Bellini, watermelon rose mojito, matcha mojito, all very good). Parking is free for 1 hour in century city. No seating tho which is fine cause you're in century city

Restaurantji Recommends
Only one girl was taking orders and making teas- she was incredibly slow and it took her 45min. In the meantime someone from the back come out and should have helped but instead ran away to the back. NotWorth the wait and should have demanded a refund!

Really like my peach bellini from here! It comes sweet so I was happy with their recommendation to lower the sweetness.

I have long been a traditional tea enthusiast. I love a good tea. They are known for their boba/milk teas; however, it is their Japanese Cherry Sakura green tea (served hot) that made me a fan. It is soothing and delicious. I like the healing properties of a good quality tea. I feel quality, product knowledge and service here are on point. The employee who assisted me was knowledgeable and helpful. Also, I do like their milk teas sans the boba (I do not like boba). I like the fact they use milk products. If you cannot make it to a sitdown high-tea service, Redstraw is a good call.

got a milk tea but it was too diluted, the colour of the milk tea doesn’t seem right, should have added more milk
