Amazing cuisine, really quality Thai food made with real Thai people. Staff are super friendly and welcoming of people, just a good old fashioned "Mom and Pop" shop -- we need to support businesses like these guys....they are the cornerstone of American Business.If we don't support awesome restaurants like Rene Cafe, we won't have a choice, and all that we'll have is predictable, cookie-cutter chains like all the other franchises, with terrible unpersonalized customer service and soul-less corporations.

My wife and I had a lovely experience at Renè Cafè. The two employees there were incredibly friendly, and our appetizer was out in less than five minutes. Delicious noodles and chicken. We really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend!

Humble location, amazing food. Dont know where the comments about staff came from. Found them very nice. Food was ready in 10 minutes. Got the pork pad see ew and chicken spicy fried rice. Both were delicious and a big serving for the price! Added menu pics since they weren’t on google before.

These people aim to please and are Living Their American Dream.They were struggling to survive during the whole C O V I D ordeal which hurt The Middle Class/ Small Business Owners. Thankfully, they pulled through.My Friends and I shared some of their Golden Shrimps, Shrimp Rolls and Chicken Wings appetizers.Succulent Golden Shrimp we're amazing. Their Shrimp Rolls we're nice and Juicy and blended well with their accompanying Sweet & Sour Sauce.And their Chicken Wings in Sweet Honey Sauce were just Amazing!!! We got a few orders of those. Straight Fire!!??My previous time here, I had went with their Kra Pow Chicken with Rice and it was absolutely delicious!This Time, I went with their Prik King Beef with is basically some Marinated Beef in a sort of curry like sauce with Green Beans & Rice. Yummy in my tummy!!!Overall, this place is Awesome! Good Tasty *Diamond in The Rough* Cheap Eats. Basically, More Bang for Your Buck!!!The Downside is The Homeless People and Crackheads Outside but hey, This is DTLA. No place is immune from the Craziness in DTLA. People move to DTLA knowing this so, it comes with the territory so to speak, no pun intended.Make Sure to Tip Well, They surely DESERVE It!

Stayed at a near by hotel, decided to go get some food and I Noticed this place along my walk. Decided to go in and order some take out. And I Must say the food here is SUPERB, absolutetly tasty and very delicious. Deff the BEST ive had in Los Angeles. Their mongolian beef and combination rice dishes are absolutetly yummy . I deff recommend this place. Rene Cafe is a must if u are seeking delicious food and good portions

My go-to Thai food spot in DTLA! The food is delicious and well priced and the staff is so nice. When you walk in you feel like you are being welcomed by family. Their beef pad see ew is so flavorful and the vegetables could not be more fresh. If you're in the area, definitely give this place a try!
VILE service, bad people. Don't listen just argue. Horrible place unwelcoming and dirty. SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN! Tiny portions too pricey and nasty staff most people in LA don't like it here and have complained and moaned about this place. Previously been sued for food poisoning. Those good reviews are fake and probably been put by friends of the manager of Rene Cafe
