The staff was very friendly and helpful. My wife was not happy with the first tea she selected. The staff responded immediately and found a replacement that she was happy with. Everyone was wonderful and very helpful.
Having afternoon Tea in the Builtmore is exceptional. There are very few venues that bring you back to the elegance on 1920's Los Angeles. The tea service itself is laid out in elegant vintage style and the cakes and sandwiches are plentiful. The staff is attentive and gracious.
Within the past year we've come 3 times. The first time it was $65 per person, 11 months later it was $75, and okay, I get it that prices go up a little every year. But then 1 month later it jumped to $110 per person! All the food is exactly the same, the same staff, same everything, so I don't understand the 70% increase in price in 1 year! It's just not worth it anymore.
