Today 12/22/24 I decide to go to eat but the service was horrible they served the food I waited 15 minutes to get my corn tortillas and they never brought me I decide paid only the flavor water and make complain for the food i donβt recommend this place
Truly some incredible food served here, all made to order including the fresh corn tortillas, whether fried for your chips or fresh to accompany your dish. Even the Pico de Gallo was made fresh to my liking. I ordered the Aporreado and it was spicy and delicious! Service was slow only because there was one server, but I was not in a rush and she was incredibly kind and attentive. Do not miss this spot if you want some delicious Mexican food.

Excellent pozole and salsa. Everything was delicious. Fantastically good for the price. Been to many similar places but Tierra is great. Can't want until I can get back!

Some of the best authentic Mexican food Iβve had when I come to visit LA! We had the menudo ππ½ππ½ππ½ chilaquiles rojos y verdes ππ½ππ½ππ½ but my absolute favorite was the wilotas in salsa roja ππππ absolutely delicious! Definitely recommend!

I decided to give "Tierra Caliente" a whirl because, let's be real, the name just sizzles! I was hoping for some culinary fireworks, but the food turned out to be more of a sparkler than a rocket. The rice and beans had that canned taste, and the chicken taquitos were just okay. But hey, the prices are definitely wallet-friendly, so no complaints there!
The real stars here? The super friendly staff and the cozy, family-oriented vibe. Will I be back for another round? Probably not, but it's a sweet little spot for a budget-friendly bite.

Ordered the carne asada burrito and added cheese and avocado. Burrito was bomb, came with red and green salsa that was also legit. They have a seating area inside, but I just got mine to go using chow now. Plenty of street parking to grab some food. Iβll be back!
Vegetarian options: Non meat options are available
Dietary restrictions: Able to remove necessary stuff
Parking: Not a problem parking on the street
Kid-friendliness: Tacos and the option to remove stuff easy meal for kiddos

It took some time to be served, I asked for water and they brought a bottle of water which costed me $2, no to mention you have to pay for extra tortilla, i donβt recommend this restaurant.
