Revolutionario had the best tacos and burritos in LA! I hope they reopen. The owners were very generous and extremely nice. Aside from the amazing food they do a lot for the community. Be well, Chefs.

Definitely a place worth stopping by, the food is awesome and well prepared, the rates are reasonable and it is regularly well kept there. Great work.

I walked in and requested that I have an order of chicken tacos with cilantro and onions and the guy at the register tells me that they're "not like every other taco joint" so some older guy walks over and I asked him the same thing and he said yeah we can do it plainly. And I told him why did he tell me I couldn't, he then gets a terrible attitude with me talking about how the kid is his son...okay. He walks away and he tells me I have to pick something off the menu, and I said do you usually modify for customers and he tells me, no Then some lady in the back cooking potatoes is like no modifications because there are too many tacos for them to make. I am allergic to dairy and I couldn't get a plain taco because they had "too many tacos to make". I was really excited to come here and was disappointed with the customer service, they were very rude and on top of that, the employees couldn't answer any of my This place is not family-friendly and has terrible customer service, I would not recommend it at all.

YUMMY YUM*** (low prices, homey atmosphere)I used to live by this place, always being drawn in by the "Join the Revolution" painted on the door. It's welcoming in a nation that regularly kills its citizens with impunity, and tears families apart. To have a restaurant that overtly positions itself with a more peaceful world is something I will definitely get behind. The regular menu is something, but to really experience this place you have to wait for their special menus. They have the most wonderful dishes that will probably only show up in LA here. I also appreciate that the prices are waaaay reasonable. I don't have to complain about how unreasonably high everything is like I do with LIT-ER-AL-LY everything else in this city.I bring my friends here whenever they come to visit LA, it's a necessary.

I haven't had these tacos in so long. I am up late craving them. They are so good. I love this spot. The first time I was in there had a lasting impression. I like the veggie tacos the feta and kale and mint tea. I am going tomorrow! I can't wait to see the chief and his family. I literally saw him give his jacket off his back to one of his college customers who was traveling to the mid west, to barrow. I can't wait to be back. Going first thing in the morning!

A one of a kind! Have you ever had North African Tacos? Honestly I haven't until I used to volunteer next door and these tacos are good and unique. There's a variety of tacos and they're flavorful. Butternut Tagine, Shakshouka Tacos, Shrimp, Wild Rockfish, smoked chicken, etc -- their menu is really straightforward with variety of protein and yummy vegan options! Also... what I'll always remember is that you can side of pineapple kimchi! Also bonus bonus -- they have North African pastries and sweets! -- They are also a black owned business. support! --

Amazing service! Called in to place my order and the chef recommended a Lamb Plate. He was super enthusiastic and welcoming. The portion of the plate was huge! It lasted me lunch and dinner. I do have to say the order I got was basically just lamb over rice, with not much variance outside of that. I kinda wish there was some vegetables or a different side, but the sauces did add some extra flavor. Definitely wanna come back to try some of their tacos!

The best thing, besides the food, is the portion sizes. They are very generous and not overpriced like a lot of restaurants. Food is delicious, servers are always polite and very accommodating.

I love hole-in-the-wall places with just a handful of menu items. This usually guarantees expertise in said dishes and good quality eats. This little joint delivers. The fish and shrimp tacos are delicious and cheap ($1.50-$2.00). Everything is cooked to order and served fresh from the fryer.

Just like Roy Choi, the creator of the Koji barbecue taco truck blending Korean and Mexican food starting the gourmet food truck craze in LA that has expanded across the country (think of kimchi tacos), Farid Zadi and his lovely family own and operate this tiny hole in the wall joint combining North African and Mexican food specializing in Tunisian tacos. I had heard of this place and when I was going to see a concert with my son at the iconic relic, The Shrine Auditorium in the USC neighborhood, I was interested to try this place. The restaurant is narrow and simply adorned with various political slogans on the walls mixed with customers extolling their love of tacos. We were greeted by Chef Zadi, who was trained at Cordon Bleu which he may have incorporated somehow in the various offerings but ditched for his love of his native Tunisian cuisine. His wife makes all the sauces and pickled vegetables that are in containers to try at your discretion. I tried a few and they were delicious additions to my tacos. Their daughter was also working behind the counter and were all delightful to talk to while I mangled my attempt to converse a bit in my high school French. I ordered the Cilantro Chicken Yoghurt and Smoked lamb tacos. My son ordered 3 including the Barbacoa brisket. The prices are Revolutionario low for the generous amount of meat in each taco. These tacos are not for the purest, but they are different and tasty. We were in a bit of a rush to get to our concert so I didn't snap some pics but will do so on my next visit. Don't be put off by the exterior which definitely will not win any architectural awards, but hey, you don't eat the architecture. The Zadi's welcome you into their small friendly border food joint in LA reimagined as Tunisia on Mexico's border.
