I hate leaving one star reviews but I wish someone would have warned me that their Acai bowls are terrible! Essentially, I paid $25 for two bowls of toppings. I'm not kidding, there was maybe 5 tablespoons of actual açaí smoothie in the bowl. Just horrible, never again!
I believe that this is the last Rita's that's as close to West LA. So please support because I absolutely love Rita's! I always get the ice and custard (gelati) because that's the best thing on the menu. The staff on each visit was always so friendly and nice. Parking lot is a bit small but there's always a spot available. There isn't much room in the store itself to hang out, but there are a few seats outside the store. Hidden gem in the Honda Plaza of Little Tokyo! The soft serve comes in only one size and only one flavor (makes ordering that much easier). Great subtle matcha flavor, not artificial tasting at all, with a smooth and creamy texture. Safe to say this is the best matcha soft serve I have ever had in CA!
