If you love Nick's Cafe nearthe old cornfield, then you'll love this place, because it's owned by the same folks! I've not had one thing from either place that I didn't just love to death. Their biscuits and gravy is amazing! So is the corned beef hash, and alll of the Benedicts! Sooooooo good!

Hidden Gem to non locals. We are from Oregon so here is my thoughts on the Rock'n Egg Cafe. My wife and I were in town celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and decided on this place for breakfast. We were not disappointed. Hanna our waitresses was very helpful and very nice. She helped my wife on suggesting a dish and thats a plus when you're going to a restaurant you've never been to. I ordered the 2nd st omelet( it was excellent)with the diced potatoes and a biscuit. I highly recommend getting the biscuit super good and made fresh at the restaurant. The salsa and jams are also made fresh. The salsa was absolutely fantastic. The coffee was quality and a good flavor. Pricing was good, a little high but so is everything else now days, the quality and flavor and service you don't mind paying that for a superior meal.
Again if you are out of town in this area I, highly recommend but get in early as it is a smaller place. Again Hanna thank you making our experience a good one!!

Old school restaurant in the heart of Eagle Rock. Very welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. Service was great and the food was plentiful and delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant. Try their biscuits and home made jellies.

If you are hungry this is the spot! It's so bomb food and the fresh salsa is the best! Everyone is rad and food is bomb! Worth the visit even if parking is hard to find! Coming back my man Jeff got me covered!

Adorable diner with an extensive menu and a neighborhood-y, family-run feel. I love that I just got an omelette and hash browns with a pancake subbed in for my toast at no extra charge.

What a delightful pocket of goodness! Our go-to brunch spot. The food is stellar, your options are diverse and the service is warm and very welcoming. Their freshly made signature salsa and jams go with just about anything, but I love them on the freshly made biscuits...
This place is a sister restaurant of Nick's (in Chinatown) but we come to Rock'n'Eggs simply because we don't feel as rushed or cramped. Weekends are especially redunckulous because the assorted eggs beni are TO DIE FOR. Each week there is a special featured one that is a must try. Only thing you gotta be aware of is that parking can be tricky. Start looking for available street parking before you get to the cafe or turn into one of close residential side streets. You'll appreciate the walk back to your gar after stuffing yourself with all the good food!
