Alas, I've finally found a bakery that makes a good sourdough. It is quite rustic, and scrumptious when toasted. The price is decent and the medium size is perfect. There is one other bakery I love, but it is in Manhattan beach. The other spot that makes a good sourdough in town, I won't mention the name cause they charge an arm and a leg and won't even slice the bread for you. This Roji, they sliced it by hand and no extra charge. Good customer service and a cute outdoor patio. Thank you.
DO NOT ORDER UBER EATS FROM HERE. I just had a terrible experience with this bakery after coming here for years. They apparently packed my food into an Uber Bot that never made it to me. They initially told me they would remake my order and give it to the REASSIGNED DRIVER THAT WAS ALREADY IN THEIR ESTABLISHMENT. They then called me back and said they would no longer do it and wouldn't help me with a refund. Terrible and disappointing service.

The baked items are the star of the show here, and they shine.
Caveat: the espresso drinks won't satisfy aficionados. They don't seem to know how to make proper steamed milk with microfoam. But you know what? Jack or all trades, master of none. Come for the baked goods, not the lattes.

Little gem of a bakery on La Brea Ave next to super popular Met Her. This “Japanese” inspired bakery stands on its own with its delicious offerings of baked pastries, pizzas and even seaweed wrapped onigiris. Only thing it’s only street parking.

Worst customer service ever.
I got in there on Monday morning around 10:30am . I was only customer and three people were working busy cleaning at the bakery counter. I waited but no one came to me asking how I can help you or anything. I had to ask to help me order after 1 or 2 min. I ordered pastries and coffee. And waited. But near coffee Machine no one is making coffee at all. I saw the Cashier left to eat her snack on other table. I was like what’s going on here? So after 2 minutes, I had to ask if my coffee is ever coming then she came back and tried to make my cappuccino . I was so shocked. What kind of business is treating a customer like this? Anyway their pastries taste ok but pricy and shop doesn’t look clean and neat. (B on the Windows) never gonna shop there again.

Homemade Japanese bakery goods located in the heart of La Brea neighborhood. I highly recommend the Salt Bread ($3.50), Curry Pan ($5.00) and Apricot Cream Cheese Danish ($5.00). Friendly staff.
Plenty of seating inside. No dedicated parking lot, street parking only.

Not doing any research, but the look and feel entering the bakery could already tell me it's been there for awhile. Yeah, that kind of local long-standing bakery which I bet are lots of people favorite to-go based on how long its existence has been. The interior was simple, classic, and could tell not much changes have been made.
Coming on Sunday afternoon, you might have guessed it right that the showcase was near being empty. Many have been sold out, but I was lucky they still had the chocolate almond croissant I wanna try.
The size was quite petite compared to common ones, but the generous chocolate filling and the deliciously crunchy almond layer on top would be called the winners! I also loved how it looked simple but the taste was simply comforting. I would surely go back to try more and next time would make it earlier in the day to get the complete selection!

Wouldn’t recommend the fruit sandwich.. The bread was definitely stale. The whipped cream and fruit inside were okay but the bread completely ruined the whole sandwich. I guess if you get it the day they actually make it then it could be good. Hojicha latte was really good though!
It’s hard to find but once you walk in, it’s a nice bakery with a small section to sit down. Japanese bakers /owners prepare Japanese style breads and pastries. Happened to find my favourite bread - azuki-whipping cream bread. Made my day.🥰

I really enjoy this little place - they have a large variety of breads and sweets. I also recommend the yummy chashu and tuna onigiri.
I fear this place won’t stay in business if people don’t keep coming through bc it’s very tucked away - so keep coming!

This place is incredibly cute, it's a little small with a lot of passion behind it. The service is very nice and they make you feel cozy. They also sell small tickets among they're bakery and coffee options. A there's some art to view as well.

It was fine. The guy who was working there seemed new. It was ok to give me a bag missing a handle. Was also missing an item but I guess I should have checked. Croissants were not very crispy.
