Alas, I've finally found a bakery that makes a good sourdough. It is quite rustic, and scrumptious when toasted. The price is decent and the medium size is perfect. There is one other bakery I love, but it is in Manhattan beach. The other spot that makes a good sourdough in town, I won't mention the name cause they charge an arm and a leg and won't even slice the bread for you. This Roji, they sliced it by hand and no extra charge. Good customer service and a cute...
The baked items are the star of the show here, and they shine.
Caveat: the espresso drinks won't satisfy aficionados. They don't seem to know how to make proper steamed milk with microfoam. But you know what? Jack or all trades, master of none. Come for the baked goods, not the lattes.
Little gem of a bakery on La Brea Ave next to super popular Met Her. This “Japanese” inspired bakery stands on its own with its delicious offerings of baked pastries, pizzas and even seaweed wrapped onigiris. Only thing it’s only street parking.
