Ronnie's Diner Reviews
3 meals were order. 1st meal French toast was delivered no butter or syrup, egges and bacon served later. 2nd meal delivered okay, but still no butter or syrup yet for French toast so now food was cold. 3rd meal delivered I order tortillas. I had to ask for my tortillas, now the food got half eaten and got cold waiting for tortillas. More staff need and proper training . Bad management.
On a mini-vacay and My wife found this place some how. The service was great and the food was better! So flavorful and appropriately filling. After eating we made our way to Venice beach and walked 8k+ steps according to our watches. We only snacked on a cotton candy &Arizona Tea (Don’t judge 😁😳)... just go and eat at Ronnie’s!!!

Ronnie's Diner is a top retro spot offering a great breakfast menu with options like gluten-free pancakes and healthy dishes. Regulars love the pancake and French toast specials, but the new menu disappointed some with the mandatory green sauce on the chiliquiles. Despite this, the food is excellent, portions are generous, and prices are reasonable, making Ronnie's a favorite breakfast place for many. The diner has a good selection of breakfast and lunch items, and it's a popular spot among locals. Inside and outside dining, clean restrooms, and free parking are available. While the food is decent, some customers found it basic and easy to replicate at home. The coffee was also not highly rated. Service is generally kind and friendly, and the atmosphere has a wholesome, nostalgic feel. Customers appreciate the effort to support local diners, and the overall experience can be satisfying, especially with standout specials like the tri-tip, which many hope will stay on the menu. The interior feels a bit dated and cramped when busy, and service can sometimes be slow during peak hours. Ronnie's provides a casual dining experience with a mix of traditional diner fare and some unique offerings, making it a good spot for those seeking a cozy, friendly environment.
