Im giving 4 instead of 3 as i believe in supporting local diners even if experience isnt perfect. Food didnt wow me, price was a little expensive, no hashbrowns. Service was excellent and atmosphere was wholesome.

Ronnie’s Diner on Culver Blvd has a friendly, nostalgic atmosphere and a solid menu of American diner classics, but the overall experience can be hit or miss. The food portions are generous, and the breakfast options are satisfying, yet the quality sometimes varies from visit to visit. Service is generally kind but can be slow during peak hours, with long waits for refills or checks. The diner could also use a bit of refreshing, as the interior feels dated and cramped when busy. It’s a decent local spot for a casual meal, but with a few improvements in consistency and efficiency, it could be much better

No steak and eggs which is no problem. Had an amazing tri-tip special that they should definitely keep on the menu. Will be back for that even if they don't, I'll be back due to the friendly service and great homey atmosphere

This place has changed! The portions are tiny now- and the prices are double. $110 for a family of 4 with two kids for breakfast. The up charging was disgusting- she asks my son if he wants blueberry and chocolate chips in his pancakes and then charges an extra 2 dollars for it ( without telling me it’s a cost), one sausage in this 20 dollar breakfast and if you want it to be chicken that’s another 4 dollars. I asked for lettuce and tomato because the regular burger didn’t come with it- and that cost a dollar, ranch another dollar. And never once did she mention she would be up charging for every single thing. We walked out with almost 10 dollars in hidden upcharges. I still tipped her 18 percent because I know people struggle and she worked hard but I will NEVER return here- and we are local and enjoyed their pancakes so we came when we could, but they’ve lost us now.

Super overpriced and charge for EVERYTHING. The waitress didn’t inform us but we were charged an extra dollar for blueberry in pancake, and chocolate chip in pancake ( that she upsold), she charged for lettuce and tomato’s and also for ranch and did not inform me it would be more. A soda was 5 dollars. They up charge for every single tiny thing. The eggs were undercooked and gross. And it’s a very very small amount of food for a lot of money. 1 tiny sausage, 2 eggs, and 2 gf pancakes cost 20 dollars.

Loved our food. French toast GOOD. Eggs Benedict and omelette GOOD. Potatoes VERY GOOD. I came here looking for comfort food and Ronnie’s definitely hit the spot. Right on point. New go-to diner now. All other “good” diners in the area get so crowded now, they’ve been hard to go. Ronnie stays relatively lowkey even though they’ve been around for decades.

Love the pricing too. My plate would have been $20 at Blu Jam, but I only paid $15.50 for my eggs Benedict. Heck yes.

Also want to add that despite the longevity of this diner, facilities and tables/seats are all well-kept and clean.

Ronnie's Diner: A Culinary Oasis in the City of Angels

In a city known for its fleeting trends and ephemeral hotspots, Ronnie's Diner stands as a testament to the enduring power of classic American comfort food, executed to perfection. From the moment you step through the door, you're enveloped in a warm, inviting atmosphere that feels less like a restaurant and more like a cherished memory. The cozy booths, the gentle clatter of cutlery, and the friendly hum of conversation all combine to create a dining experience that is both timeless and utterly delightful.

The menu at Ronnie's is a love letter to the American diner, featuring all the beloved classics you know and adore, but with an unwavering commitment to quality and freshness that sets it apart from the rest. The ingredients are so fresh you can taste the California sunshine in every bite. The burgers are a masterclass in simplicity and flavor, with juicy, perfectly cooked patties and the freshest of toppings. The sandwiches are piled high with premium meats and cheeses, and the breakfast, available all day, is nothing short of legendary. The pancakes are light and fluffy, the bacon is crisp and smoky, and the coffee is always hot and fresh.

But what truly elevates Ronnie's from a great diner to an unforgettable one is the staff. The service is attentive, friendly, and genuinely warm. You're not just a customer at Ronnie's; you're family. The staff takes real pride in their work, and it shows in every interaction. They're happy to offer recommendations, accommodate special requests, and ensure that your dining experience is nothing short of perfect.

In a city of stars, Ronnie's Diner is a shining example of what a restaurant should be: a place where the food is delicious, the atmosphere is inviting, and the people are friendly. It's a place where you can relax, unwind, and enjoy a taste of classic Americana. Whether you're a lifelong Angeleno or a first-time visitor, a meal at Ronnie's is an experience you won't soon forget.

This diner is tucked away in a small strip mall, with free parking right out front—super convenient. Inside, it has that classic diner feel, with cozy booths and a relaxed, homey vibe. There’s also a nice outdoor patio if you prefer to sit outside.
The service is super friendly and welcoming. It can be a bit slow during busy times, but it’s worth the wait.
The food is really good, made with fresh, quality ingredients, and the prices are very reasonable. It definitely has that mom-and-pop feel, which adds to its charm.
A great spot for a casual, comforting meal where you’re treated like a regular, even on your first visit.

Nice local place for a casual meal. The portions were adequate, not overly generous. Basic diner fare with some interesting additions.
I chose this restaurant for its proximity to LAX. I would choose another restaurant next time.
