I enjoyed the staff and the energy. The food was wonderful. But there was a bit of chaos all around the tables with the way staff serves food, collects plates, etc. I wish they had a system of movement for the staff. It would change the atmosphere from diner to elegant restaurant.

I absolutely LOVE this place. Have been several times. The food is exceptional. Fresh and flavorful, they include all of the traditional flavors you'd expect in both traditional and unique new preparations. The Paneer Masala Fries are exceptional. Everything else I've ordered has been delicious. The service is also outstanding. This is now my go-to Indian spot!

Came for an anniversary after seeing the recommendation from the host of Gastronauts, Jordan. What a surprise. My wife and I loved the food. The meal for two was excellent. Highly recommend the paneer masala fries. The service was amazing. Couldn't have asked for a better anniversary meal. Will be coming back

I cannot rave about this experience enough. We were in LA for my daughter's 16th birthday. We always find new places to eat when we make the trek from OC to LA. Roots surpassed our expectations. From the amazing hospitality of the entire team to the food, we were impressed. Samosas were delicious, the Aloo Tiki crispy and so good. Naan bread was perfect (garlic and cheese both so good!). They checked on us all throughout to see if we needed anything. And at the end of the meal, made our daughter feel very special with a little birthday surprise. Highly recommend!! (No photos because we were too excited to eat everything and forgot to take pictures!)

Excellent meal! The food was great and the service was fantastic. Flavorful dishes, great music. I have celiac disease and a dairy allergy - so many gluten feee and vegan options. Really good value too. Definitely recommend.
