Our server, Manash(sp) was fabulous. She treated us as family and even comped a dessert for us. The food was spectacular. Many Indians in the restaurant; enjoying traditional communal meals. The spinach dish, saag paneer, and butter chicken were wonderful, as was the garlic nan. Highly recommend this family-run hidden gem.

Roots is hands down one of the best, if not the best, Indian restaurants in Los Angeles. Great food, amazing service and at very reasonable prices. Everything was delicious but their chicken nirvana is out of this world.
