I’ve been to Rosalind’s a few times now and every time I think the food tastes better and better. The vegan goodness is great for two people to get to try a bunch of the dishes. I also opted for the sampler 3 this past time and loved it!
Every time I’ve visited Rosalind’s I’ve been seated right away and the food came out really quickly. I really love the woman who is always working. She is so kind and I enjoy talking to her when they aren’t too busy.
I absolutely recommend and will be back often. Plus it’s an easy walk to LACMA and The Academy Museum so it’s a perfect spot to go to before an exhibit.
Nice ride!
We went during an off hour for a late lunch. There was nobody in there except for one lady staring vacantly out the window. She looked rather put off that we went in and wanted to eat. She was grumpy and unfriendly. But aside from her the food was good. And even though it doesn’t look like a lot the two of us had leftovers. We’ll still go back.
Tip: bring cash for a tip because she asked for that.
Incredible. Show this small business some love! We tried the vegan plate + the meat sampler and it was perfect. Amazing flavors and gorgeous to look at.
Very tasty and filling food. Warm service. We ordered a sampler platter for about $30 and EASILY fed 3 hungry people.
Great Ethiopian food, great experience. Very different atmosphere. Very healthy for vegan cuisine as well.
Amazing food and service. Always delicious even on the busiest days. Chef has blessed hands 🍽️
Brought my fiancée here who’s never had Ethiopian. We got The Emperor which is the large sampler platter with a little bit of everything. It’s enough food for 2-3 people, and it did not disappoint! Also, try the Ethiopian lager, it’s quite good. Very good experience and really friendly staff. I’ve been to 3 Ethiopian spots on this street and this one has some of the best flavor I think.

Very traditional solid food in such a loving atmosphere you feel it the minute you walk through the door (outdoor seating also available).

Delicious food! My friends and I got the veggie platter and lamb stew, and ate all of it within 15 minutes. Highly recommend.

It was a very interesting experience. The food is very good and as we were not sure what to pick they recommended the sample platter. It was enough for 2 / 3 people, depending how much you can eat. Interesting fact: they don’t bring silverware, so you need to pick the food with the bread. It’s easy to pick it with a larger piece of bread, but then you end up eating too much of bread, and get full quickly. So try tearing up a small piece of that bread, just enough to pick the food. It’ll get messy, but you won’t forget it.
