Edit: saw the response and thought it was nice and then we got the fully story from the rest of our friends about how they were treated poorly from start to finish by this person. Updating review to 1 star and cannot recommend this place to anyone. I understand people have bad days but this behavior towards several members of our party was unacceptable.
My friend had her bridal shower here and we had such a wonderful time for most of it. The drinks were delicious and the pastries and sandwiches were very good. We got to hang out and catch up and the women serving the food and drinks were so sweet and even took pictures for us. Things took a turn unfortunately as we were leaving and the woman in charge was incredibly rude to a few people in our party as we were leaving. Someone accidentally bumped into a display and one of the jars broke and the person running this place was very rude about it even when we said we would pay for it. She then told us we were way past our closing time even though we weren’t and told us we needed to go. It was an unfortunate way to end the evening when we had been having so much fun up until then.
I recently hosted my friend’s bridal shower here. For context, groups of 17 or more are required to buy out the entire venue and pay a flat fee, regardless of how many guests actually attend on the day of the event. That said, I want to start by saying the space itself was absolutely beautiful and perfectly brought my vision to life.
On the day of, I arrived earlier than expected due to the long drive and the need to store perishables. I got there at 2:30 PM and politely asked if I could quickly place a few items inside while setup was still underway. Unfortunately, I was met with immediate hostility from the head server. I understand that early arrivals may not be ideal, but we are blessed with the ability to kindly say “no”. I would have completely understood. Instead, the interaction felt unnecessarily rude and unwelcoming. This was my first time speaking with her, and naturally I had a few questions. Her responses were short and dismissive, though she eventually allowed me to place the items inside after I explained that we had traveled from out of town.
When I returned at 3 PM to begin decorating, I hoped I would not have to interact with her again. Unfortunately, it quickly became clear that she was the head server and would be present throughout the event. While I tried to keep my distance, she certainly made her presence known. Several guests mentioned that they felt she was being condescending and unnecessarily strict. From the start of the event to the end, she made us feel rushed. I completely understand the importance of sticking to the schedule, and I made sure our group was aware of the timing. We only went two minutes over, yet still felt pressured throughout the entire experience. This was especially disappointing given that our entire party had traveled over two hours and we had reserved the entire venue. A little understanding and kindness would have gone a long way which she did not possess.
I understand that working in customer service can be demanding and isn’t for everyone but in a setting where people are celebrating meaningful life events, it is important to be professional. Everyone has bad days and perhaps this was just an unfortunate day for everyone involved. Still, it was disheartening given the amount of time, effort, and money that went into making the event special.
That said, I want to sincerely thank the rest of the staff. The other servers were kind, helpful, and even took photos for us. Their warmth and professionalism really stood out and helped make the event enjoyable for the bride and our guests. I hope this feedback is helpful in improving future customer experiences.
EDIT: After the pleasant response from the owner, I have updated my rating from 2 to 3 stars. While I can sympathize with the head server having a bad/off day, several of our guests had different experiences of her poor behavior throughout the event that they mentioned to my family after it was over. This treatment isn’t acceptable for anyone but especially not to people who paid well to rent out the entire space and were celebrating such a joyful milestone. Again, thank you to the other girls for being so kind & attentive and to the owner for their quick and understanding apology. Truly appreciated!
My friends and family hosted my bridal shower here and we had a mostly pleasant time except for the end. The sandwiches and treats were tasty, the set up was lovely, and the girls serving were very nice. However, at the end of the event while walking to the bathroom someone in our party accidentally bumped into the counter and hit a small tea dish off the table and it broke. We were immediately apologetic and made it clear we understood if we needed to pay. The head server was then VERY RUDE and snarky letting us know we would have to pay which we had already said okay to. She then goes to angrily talk on the phone in the back while rolling her eyes and comes back and VERY RUDELY says we don’t have to pay but we were “way past our time and needed to leave”. It was 5:40pm and based on my understanding our event ended at 5:30pm and we had 15 minutes to clean up which we were doing. I was so disappointed by this interaction and it put such a sour ending to what was otherwise a wonderful 2 hours. This total lack of compassion & customer service for a small mistake solidifies that I can’t recommend this place to others for events. Thank you to the other girls serving for being so kind and even taking pictures for us.
My party and I had never done teatime before and I swear we left different women. The environment was so feminine and classy, but still felt very homey and cozy. The tea attendants were also so kind and provided very attentive service. Los Angeles is so lucky to have a space like this for them to come together, enjoy delicious pastries, Explore wonderful teas, and leave closer than when they came. I cannot speak for the rest of my party, but I will definitely be back Someday soon. Maybe even for a solo teatime!
I jad recently came with my cousins for one of their bday celebration. The experience was fun overall, and the pastries were delicious. They had a great variety of tea options, but I do wish we could've had the option to do tea refills.
Very good tea service that is affordable. The sandwiches tasted great and each person got their own tea choice and small tea pot. The desserts were too sweet but the cream puffs were great. The cold cream filling for the puffs was a great texture. It would be made even better with a crunchy exterior or filling element to chew on.

Stepping into Rose & Blanc Tea Room feels like entering a quaint, intimate tea room with a lovely feminine touch. The soft pink walls and elegant decor set the perfect mood for afternoon tea. It was heartwarming to see so many enjoying high tea, complete with yummy and delicate treats and fragrant brews. And to top it all off, the customer service was excellent! I took my sister here! We enjoyed the unique experience and definitely think it’s something all the girlypops should try at least once!
food/drink:
• violette tea set: egg & basil pesto tea sandwich, cucumber & dill tea sandwich, smoked salmon & truffle aioli tea sandwich, pastrami ham & mustard tea sandwich, classic scone with jam & devonshire cream, 4 seasonal desserts - everything was yummy and so aesthetic
• matcha lavendar iced milk tea - this is the strongest lavendar taste we’ve ever had, super impressed!
• grand jasmine tea - light and floral! sugar cubes on the side to add sweetness

The place is a lot tinier than I expected but it got crowded very quickly on a Saturday afternoon. My tea was tasty and I liked the snacks- although some of their sandwiches were okay.

Over all the sandwiches and pastries were delicious, along with the tea. However, ambiance was a little too noisy for a tea room. Sounds more like a busy restaurant, if you don't mind that 100% recommend!
Thank you so much for the very lovely 18th birthday private tea party!
