Salmon fish & chips ($18)It's what's expected... the seasoning is good. Farmers Market atmosphere is a little bit loud.

Got the fish and chips and some scallops. I wouldn't say it was the best and but it was good food. I feel like the portion size is very small. The cod for the fish and chips were way smaller than I expected and the scallops were small as well. The server was really nice though.

roxy & jo's !! rating: 8.5/10 pricing: $18 for fish & chips, $30 for lobster roll muahahah we went here for our anniversary lunch and honestly these might've been the best fish & chips i've had!!! it's located in the original farmers market next to the grove. the breading didn't stay crispy unfortunately but the flavor was amazing ;00 their malt vinegar was also reallly yummy i enjoyed the lobster roll but i don't think i've ever gotten a hot lobster roll before. it was really yummy i just wish it was a bit more flavorful :D overall, i would want to return hehe

We had the fish and chips, shrimp tacos and shrimp and fries! These were so tasty and perfect! Tartar sauce and pickles were also good! Our order was ready in less than 10 minutes. This fed a family of 4 and two drinks for under $65 - 2 adults & 2 kids. Super!

Lobster roll was pretty poor. In the scheme of lobster roll pricing, $30 isn't terrible, but they absolutely RUIN the lobster meat by drenching it in this horrid, "spicy" mayonnaise. A complete and utter disappointment. My daughter and wife had the fish tacos, which also - regrettably - exemplified this places philosophy of ruining otherwise respectable ingredients with a sauce drenching.

Really enjoyed our meal. I have always been and will continue to be obsessed with a Farmers Market lunch. One of my favorite places in LA. The food was really great today and I thought the prices were quite good for the quality of seafood. The chowder was pretty good and only $10 for a big bowl. We got a shrimp cocktail which was excellent and nicely priced. Super tasty cocktail sauce. I thought the fish and chips were great. Fresh fry, not overly breaded, nice consistency and good taste. The staff were so sweet. Glad I finally had a chance to try. Definitely a new fave in the market.

Lobster bisk was flavorless, and had no texture. The only texture it has was the shell of the lobster service was nice, but not enough to make this a pleasant experience. The lobster in the lobster roll was rubbery, and definitely not fresh. Nice area, but a waste of money. Don't eat here.

The Lobster Bisque was disgusting. I have never had a bisque that tasted bad. The fish tacos had no flavor at all. The lobster roll was the only thing that tasted good. We came hungry and left very disappointed. Skip this place.

Rock inside the oysters and the shrimp looks like it was eaten. Lobster roll is very bland and dry.

The Lobster Bisque was disgusting. I have never had a bisque that tasted bad. The fish tacos had no flavor at all. The lobster roll was the only thing that tasted good. The 2 staff members we interacted with were cold and unfriendly. We came hungry and left very disappointed. All around, it was a mistake eating here.

Really like this place not pricey for the location. Clam chowder was very good and hardy. Grilled oysters with butter and links was my favorite.

It used to be so much better in the past. What happened ? Our last visit was more than disappointing. We had come for the lobster bisque which was not available :( The fish tacos tasted truly weird. The texture of the fish pieces was mushy, watery and all was unseasoned. Any average fast food restaurant does a better-tasting fish taco. But no refund, or exchange for other menu substitutions were offered when we brought it up at the counter. The lobster roll was overpriced for how it tasted. Unfortunately, this once-good fish place fell out of favor with us. Sad.

First time I tasted lobster with the lobster roll. Very good, the fries could be a little less dry. Very good service.
