I’ve never been to a Thai restaurant with an hour wait on a Sunday, but I understand why. Probably the best Pad See Ew I’ve ever had.

Absolutely loved this place! The food at Ruen Pair is incredibly authentic — the flavors are rich, balanced, and just the right level of spice. Everything tasted freshly made and full of that real Thai home-cooked vibe.
The staff were super friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in, and our dishes came out surprisingly fast even though the restaurant was quite busy. You can really tell they care about both the food and the guests.
Highly recommend if you’re craving real Thai food in LA. Definitely coming back!

So impressed with this place! I got the Thai BBQ pork fried rice and it was some of the best I’ve had. Definitely will be back to try more of the menu. Nice restaurant to sit down and eat as well.

LA’s top Thai restaurant in my opinion. Definitely try pad see ew, spicy clam, fish, morning glory. And honestly everything they have is a must.

We ordered chichen larb and crispy pork. Both food is super salty. It amazes me that this restaurant was so busy. I think young adults like to eat salty food. People are set up for high blood pressure by eating out at this restaurant. And you have to pay for parking. This discourage me to eat out salty food. Great!!!

I was looking up late night spots in LA after getting some tattoos and this spot seemed pretty enticing! Although, in typical LA fashion the plaza is a mess for parking. There was a pretty sizable wait-list but the wait wasn't too bad. The food though? Delish!! Authentic, good portions and don't forget to order a side of rice and their locally brewed Ruen Pair beer.

I love this place and everything I've tried has been delicious. If you get the drunken noodle and veg rolls, you can't go wrong.

I will never forget dining here on Christmas Eve one night almost 3 years ago. Ruen Pair was my first and only Thai food experience in California and it is still on my mind all these years later.
I’ve had maybe one decent pad thai living here in Arizona, but when I had the pad thai from Ruen Pair I felt ROBBED. I’ve never had pad thai like this one and it kind of blew my mind, it was that good. I also shared papaya salad with a friend and tried some of her chicken over rice and both were incredible and so flavorful. I’ve never had such a good meal anywhere else. The food seems very unassuming but it is fresh, of high quality, and packs so much flavor with complexity.
It’s incredibly disappointing being in Arizona and trying to find a Thai spot anywhere near as good as here — every place falls so short and is light years behind. I’m sure there there are so many gems all over the LA area, but in Phoenix where the food scene is so meh, this place has never left my mind. I often dream of taking a flight or driving over just to have another meal here again.

Came here 3 years ago. The food was amazing. Back again today, a little disappointed on the overall taste of the food. The crispy pork Kra Pao was very dry, tough, and not crunchy. The pork leg was very dry and not as juicy as before. Still good, but not as good as before or in Thailand. Sorry to give this place 3/5, from 5/5.
