We waited a long time on a weeknight and it was just okay. It wasn’t bad, but there are plenty of other really good Thai restaurants without waits.

Arrived for dinner around 6:30pm and there was a line but it moved very quickly. The hostess ran a strict program and got every table turned over efficiently. The food was 10/10. The prices are a bit high for this area but the portions were large, I had leftovers for two days. Went with a vegan friend and she enjoyed her meal as well.

We’ve already waited an hour, and they still haven’t arranged our seats. Waiting in line this long is too much.
My girlfriend and I had eaten at this restaurant twice before, where we ordered the braised pork trotters rice and the soy-sauce duck. Yesterday, we drove back to the Bay Area from LA and took out one order of pork trotters rice and one order of water spinach. We ate the food at a Tesla Supercharger station.
Late at night after we got home, both my girlfriend and I began experiencing severe abdominal pain, followed by vomiting and diarrhea. We continued vomiting and having diarrhea until our stomachs were completely empty, and only then did we feel slightly better.
Today, neither of us has been able to eat anything, and we have developed chills and a low-grade fever. I am currently at an urgent care clinic.
I strongly recommend that the health department inspect this restaurant’s food and kitchen. I will never eat at this restaurant again. If our condition worsens, I will pursue legal action against the restaurant. I also advise anyone reading this review to be cautious about their food and use their own judgment.

Food is excellent, almost as good as my wife's cooking! This restaurant is ALWAYS busy. There is almost ALWAYS a line. So we always try to visit before 4pm, usually you can get a table quickly. After 4pm it's a wait. Food is spicy, not super salty, it's a rare treat, to have food actually prepared properly. Bravo.

I’ve never been to a Thai restaurant with an hour wait on a Sunday, but I understand why. Probably the best Pad See Ew I’ve ever had.

Absolutely loved this place! The food at Ruen Pair is incredibly authentic — the flavors are rich, balanced, and just the right level of spice. Everything tasted freshly made and full of that real Thai home-cooked vibe.
The staff were super friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in, and our dishes came out surprisingly fast even though the restaurant was quite busy. You can really tell they care about both the food and the guests.
Highly recommend if you’re craving real Thai food in LA. Definitely coming back!
