Inconsistent. The first time we came here we were asked 3 times by 3 different people if we had a reservation. 2 of the 3 times were asked after we were already seated. Very strange. Luckily after that the food was good.

The second time we ordered two steaks, a pork dish, and a Caesar salad. Both steaks were not cooked correctly. One of them was half well done and half raw (which was served to a pregnant woman who shouldn’t be having raw foods). The pork dish came out cold. The Caesar salad came out late after 3 of us had almost finished eating. Also, I know it seems ridiculous to complain about a Caesar salad, but it was somehow super bland which it wasn’t before.

The last thing to mention is that the service seems to be lacking communication each time we go. We had two people ask us about both our drink orders and if we are ready to order.

This place is absolutely lovely. I went there for the first time yesterday for a wine and food pairing… It’s family owned and the atmosphere was warm and inviting… it was a real change of pace from the standard fussy LA wine bar. … Go here. always great food, we had good service too. We sat outside and the table behind us was pretty loud, but it subsided after awhile. Love this place! My husband had short ribs, and the other 3 had some variation on poke or ahi salads.

Earlier in the week we had an unfortunate experience ordering from Rustic Kitchen, they were closed on the 4th but did not relay that to the online ordering platform linked to their website. This resulted in our placing an order that never got delivered.
Fast forward to the next day and the owner kindly reach out to me to apologize and offered us a free meal!
I was impressed, it was seriously the right move, he took responsibility for the mistake and our inconvenience. So tonight we enjoyed a meal on the house and got to taste all the items we ordered on the 4th.
Mistakes happen and when they do, I wish all business owners would take a cue from John, owner of Rustic Kitchen, and make it right with your customers.

Pretty awful food and service, I’m surprised this place has such good reviews. The charcuterie board is over priced and meat isn’t even cut thin enough that you can eat it. Dinner is served lukewarm and without seasoning. Extremely overpriced for what you get. I would not recommend you come here.

This is one of my new favorite local places. The people are lovely, and the wine offerings are ridiculous! We tried a flight and tasted two more and now have 5 wines we absolutely adore. And the food was delicious.

Came here for my husband's birthday dinner. Menu looked great but unfortunately, it didn't live up to the hype. There was tuna tartare and tuna crudo listed on the menu. My husband and I ordered the tuna tartare and the beet tartare to share. My daughter and brother each ordered the tuna crudo. What we got were two tuna tartare and two beet tartare. We sent one beet tartare back and asked about the tuna crudo. We were informed that the tuna tartare and the tuna crudo were the same thing. Really? The chef needs to learn the difference between a tartare and a crudo. The taro chips that were served with the tuna tartare were thick and soggy. The beet tartare was just ok and served with rather dry slices of bread. We were then informed that they were out of lobster and so no lobster rolls for me or my husband. He ordered the branzinno and I ordered the special of penne in a cream sauce with shaved zucchini. The branzino was cooked perfectly with a nicely crisped skin. The penne dish was inedible. The cream sauce had broken and was clotted. The zucchini was overcooked and mushy. What a disappointment. The high notes were the breaded and fried avocado, the branzino and the steak. Service was ok but we kept getting different servers which was a bit confusing. Overall, a very disappointing meal.

This place is indeed a neighborhood gem and I am so glad that I went there! The restaurant itself is unpretentious but nice in appearance. The inside of the restaurant is tastefully decorated, and clean. The atmosphere is relaxing. The food is well-prepared, fresh, and delicious. The staff was courteous and very attentive. The wine list is quite extensive and the staff is knowledgeable regarding wine/food pairings. While the food is not low cost, it is certainly not out of line with the high quality of the food offering and, in my opinion, priced very fairly. The noise level is low and you can have a nice conversation and actually hear what people are saying. This is a new go-to restaurant for my wife and me.

This really is a neighbourhood gem! The Food was delicious, and even though they were a little understaffed, our food was brought to the table hot and it was nice to have a relaxed, leisurely dinner. We are going back to try more things on the menu and some of the  decadent desert!

Excellent presentation and very good service. Corkage based on number of people drinking is different. $15 per person and not per bottle. Menu Prices are moderate. Huge wine list. Food tastes are very very good. Nice size portions and excellent taste.
