Very beautiful coffee shop. Unfortunately the coffee wasn’t what we expected . I loved the vibe, the aesthetic and plenty of parking. The taste, the flavor wasn’t there. We ended up going to Maru afterwards.
Loved stopping by this tiny cafe, such a beautiful interior design. This cafe is a small area in the entrance of their restaurant that has a few chairs. We ordered one yuzu custard pastry (subtle flavor, not very sweet, great texture and flakiness), a hot Amai con panna (a nice cinnamon and cream espresso) and another cold drink I cannot remember the name of (but it is the one pictured here) both drinks were nice but just a heads up they are super sweet. This cafe shares a space with the lobby of kodo hotel, and is beautiful Japanese minimalism at its peak. That being said, it must get slow because both the lobby reception and cafe barista were looking bored and on their devices when I stepped in. It was a bummer that they were already out of pastries to not have a little sweet something to accompany my usual espresso, so I opted for an oat cortado which was lovely. The coffee and ambiance in their mini outside patio was nice.
