We were in the area promoting i9 Youth Sports and found this nice neighborhood restaurant. The service was amazing and the food was good. Only problem was the flies. But would come back.
It is fun to go here because it is outdoors on a decomposed granite patio with casual seating and good sized tables. The food is simple and very good with nice grilled flavors. It's fun that patrons bring well behaved dogs. Sometimes the servers are stretched but it all works out. The problem is parking, and once or twice I've had to park three blocks away. Even though there is street noise, the venue itself is quiet and I, though hard of hearing, can converse.
Went to Salazar on Fletcher and had the aguachile and the ceviche tostadas, both were seriously good. The aguachile was super fresh, with shrimp, cucumbers, red onions, and this green chile sauce on the side that added just the right amount of heat. Really light and refreshing, perfect for a warm day.
