I was very disappointed by my experience and feel compelled to share it. When I visited the store on Monday around 6:30 PM, a female staff member with tattoos and piercings treated us in a very unprofessional and rude manner. She did not greet us properly, gave dismissive answers to our questions, and overall made us feel unwelcome. I came hoping to enjoy some ice cream, but instead left feeling upset. I have visited many Salt & Straw locations, including Silver Lake and Venice Beach, and have always had great experiences—but this was by far the most unpleasant one. I strongly believe the owner should ensure better training for the staff so that customers are treated with respect.

Best ice-cream shop around. I Love their variety of ice cream. I can’t decide which is my favorite one. The workers are friendly and helpful. The music playing was inappropriate for the few children in the shop. I won’t get into details, but it was definitely inappropriate.

The product was excellent, but the chef’s behavior was very disappointing. A few minutes before opening, he rudely told customers to leave instead of simply locking the door. I believe his name was George. On the other hand, the young lady at the counter was very pleasant and polite, which was appreciated.

Very unique recipes and that’s a big win for me, especially the honey lavender, love it! I asked what were the favorites and the server said a free flavors were only being dished out 3-4 times a day…and they happen to be the ones I wasn’t crazy about. They’re really great about testers so make sure you walk out with something you love🍦🩷
They had the best vanilla olive oil ice cream… amazing!

there were 4 vegan options when i went and i chose the peanut butter brittle carmel fudge and it was amazing!!!! highly recommend

First time coming to this place and let me say that whoever thought of putting an ice cream shop next to a pizzeria is a genius! Anyways I tried the Chocolate Gooey Brownie and the Salted, Malted Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough. Out of the 2 I would get the Salted,Malted Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough again. The Chocolate Gooey Brownie is very choclatey and a bit boring. Salted, Malted is the way to go along with a waffle cone. Prices are reasonable, portions are fine, good ice cream but I probably would pick other spots just because of their variety. Overall I would definitely recommend this place and would come back.

I been here about 7 times and each time gets better. The staff are great and friendly. I love how knowledgeable they are when it come to each flavor and always recommend a a combination of flavors. Also it’s really nice inside to sit and have your ice cream.
